Entrance Preview
I was allotted this college in counseling. I was excited too because it was a government college and Bikaner city is an education hub. I was happy that there would be highly qualified faculty but from the very first day of college, I felt cheated. Very pathetic
Course Curriculum Overview
Again i will say very pathetic. You just got a degree. (actually got not received) because you don't have proper or little bit knowledge about your course neither you know about faculty nor books. Just wait for semester exam and write the answer book.
Internships Opportunities
No. There is not any intern from our college. Government engineering college bikaner. You won't even think about it.
Placement Experience
Placement is history in our college. At some time there were placements in some big names of the market but now from last 3-4 years. Hardly any student got placed and the maximum package is 2-3 lakh. There are some strong and deep politics in college so companies are not invited.
College Events
I remember there were few events. Back in 2009-10, there were Kumar Biswas, Sandeep Acharya in events. But now I remember there was an event in 2013 when there were more police than students in college and it was a first and last event. Most entertaining events happened in college were the strikes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College is afflicted by Rajasthan technical university so fee structure is, same as other colleges of Rajasthan technical university but you have the difference of 5-6k in fee from private colleges of Rajasthan technical university. 35000 is the fee per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is not any kind of scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. Some of the scholarships are provided by state government though but not any by the college.
Campus Life
Everything is below average. Robotics is a joke. Debates turn into some serious fights. Labs, sports events, gym are a dream which will not be fulfilled. Yes, there is a very good library and computer lab, Really impressive. But other things suck. No extracurricular activities are there
Hostel Facilities
When education is not important for a college then why would the hostel or mess? Again hostels, mess in charge are appointed by political powers. So very bad experience in a hostel and mess and you can't do anything for it because everything is planned.
Alumni/Alumna
One who got pass out from here don't want to go there so any chance of alumni network. It's all about your friend circle.
Exam Structure
It was completely chilled out. Do whatever you want. No minimum attendance restrictions no schedule. You don't know the staff doesn't know you. You have zero knowledge about practicals because there are no labs, no instrument. Just go and chill.
Admission
I cleared Rajasthan pre-engineering test and then I score 76 marks and was very satisfying rank(don't remember exactly now) so there was counseling in college and branches were also divided on the basis of ranks but all was a myth. You can get admission by hook or crook
