Likes

Good infrastructure with good facilities
Well equipped labs and incubation cell to do research
All facilities are provided within the hostel campus

Dislikes

Incorporating faculties and not up to date teaching methodology
Fees is high and facilities are not up to the mark
Placements are not good incomparison to main campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is well constructed proper engineering subjects with a variety in electives which helps students to explore their domain . We can also take up open electives from different courses which help us to gain knowledge beyond our technical course.

Campus placement are deteriorating over years with an excuse of recession companies over here are average intake of students has increased resulting in sheer rat race . I will be sitting off campus to fulfill my roi and maybe master a couple of years in future

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for my batch is 3.9 lakhs too much to pay for what they are offering but the hostel is too expensive it costs around 1.5 lakhs a year excluding mess charges which is 71 k . College placement are like average private engineering college placement nothing special about it . If you want to complete the roi then find jobs off campus

Campus Life

There are lot of tech non tech clubs which you can explore . They organise their flagship events which boosts one's confidence from hackathons to mun you name it .the library facility is very good . Sports grounds are not much maintained but one can play football lawn tennis cricket

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not upto the mark. They charge around 2.3 lakhs per annum the message food is so bad they are accomodating tons of students to lure money it gets difficult to get your meal in mess sometimes.

Admission

So admission process is through jee mains score and met (manipal entrance test) . I got shortlisted through met scored around 28 k rank went for counseling and got my preferred branch . Jee score is also considered my friends got through jee mains score 75 - 90 percentile will fetch you a tech branch

Faculty

We are assigned by class coordinator who is not in general bothered with your academics growth and development but interested in whether your fees is paid on time or not . Some teachers are very good in regards of helping students academically. It is hard approach a teacher in this college

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

campus , classes and careers
