The college is overall really good and is a balance of quality education, a learning environment and good opportunities to excel in life.

I have always heard about this college and about the good reputation it holds. It is indeed the best college in entire Dehradun, Uttarakhand. My elder cousins where also graduates of this college and they suggested me to pursue my higher education from this college. I chose BCA from GEHU because it provides the best faculty and moreover the all new high end equipped labs.

The course curriculum which is followed here is very smooth and simple. There is no hectic schedule and the timings are also fine. On an average, there are 10 credits for each semester and on the basis of these the entire curriculum runs. The course material provides a curiosity and a need to do research or to write a thesis about the current studying subject. For courses like BCA, BBA, Animation, Fashion designing, Honours(English, Physic, Maths)etc there is an opportunity to select an elective subject as per your will.

No, the college does not provide any internship on its own. However, it does support the capable and potential students for internships and if required also provide references.

most of the students get placed in GEHU. mainly the IT compaines visit the campus all round the year. some of the technical giants like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant etc come for the recruitment. the average salary package is around 3 Lakhs and for more talented and capable students it can be more. last year, highest package offered by one such core company was 22 lakhs per year. Also, a student from Btech CS was placed with an offer of 18 lakhs per year in IBM

The college is very frequent with events. There are many events that takes place in the college premises ranging from cultural events to sports events to technical events related to coding, gaming etc. one of the most popular event of Graphic Era is Grafest which is a heartbeat for the students and their enjoyment.

The fee structure is little expensive as compared to other colleges but keeping notes of the infrastructure, resources and facilities provided by the college the fee structure goes well. Fee structure for the courses is as follows: BCA, Bcom, BBA close to 55000 per semester. Btech- INR 70000-80000 per semester Architecture- INR 80000-100000 per semester and for other courses like animation, fashion designing etc it is in between 50000-70000 per semester.

There is no such scholarship or loan facility that the college offers. However, there is one scholarship exam organized by the college for Btech students only.In this exam, depending on the marks scored by the student scholarship of upto INR 20000-30000 is provided per semester. Also, if the student degrades his/her marks during the semester exams the scholarship can be called off.

The campus life is pretty cool and amazing. There are students from different regions but the decorum of the college is well maintained. The gender ratio is approximately around 1:3 i.e one girl among 3 boys. often, the workshops and cultural events like Umang etc are organized in the college to make the students participate in such cultural events and learn more.

The hostels and facilities for hostlers are good. The rooms are in good condition and the sharing of rooms depend on the type of accomodation a student wants to avail. The rooms are available as single room, 2 person in one room and 3 person in one room. Mess provides variety or food and healthy eatables to students. All the food is cooked as per the menu decided which consists of right amount of all nutrients.

The alumni network is not very broad or open. Once in a year, the alumni meet takes place where all the alumni from different places come and become a part of a well organized event by the college authorities. Also, a topper's meet takes place every year at Bhimtal campus where toppes from all the three campuses of Graphic Era come and celebrate under one single shed.

In every semester, 2 exams takes place mid semesters and end semesters in a gap of 2.5-3 months. Practical exams for each subject takes place accordingly. The exam schedule for mid semesters is a little hectic as 2 exams takes place in a single day and the entire exam procedure for mid semesters in completed within 3 to 4 days. There are proper preparation leaves for end semesters.

The admission process to GEHU is direct and I got admission here on the basis of my percentage in 12th. The percentage criteria that was required was 65 and I had scored 85% in 12th therefore, got the admission easily. I came to the college, enquired at the reception about the course and necessary details like fee structure, curriculum, placement opportunities etc and this made me certain about taking admission here.

Majority of the faculty is highly qualified and have good teaching experience of years. Some of the faculties of Btech has done post graduation and research from IITs. Faculties of other courses are also highly educated and have an in depth understanding of their knowledge. Apart from this, the teaching staff is supportive and is always available for valuable guidance.
