Course Curriculum Overview
First year, there are general subjects which include the first and second semesters. form the third semester onwards the core subjects are started which also include labs for specific courses if needed and each course is taught by its own faculty member who are well-versed in the subject. the exams are also not that hard if we attend the classes regularly.
Placement Experience
Placements are average on the campus due to the recession. Around 75 plus companies have visited the campus so far and students who cleared 6 semesters without any backlogs can attend the placement process the highest package offered is around 20 lpa and the average is 4 lpa but the percentage of students placed is very low around 30 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure when I joined was 220000 tution for COMEDK students which has now increased. This fee has to be paid every year and this continues for the complete four years. Some other charges also need to be paid for department co-curricular activities which might be up to 1000rs.
Campus Life
Generally, the annual fest called pleades is conducted every year but it has been conducted since 2020 for unknown reasons from the college. Apart from that the libraries are very good and have many books for reference. Some clubs as well for students who are interested in those activities such as upsc club kannada club, etc.
Admission
Firstly COMEDK exam needs to be cleared with a good enough rank which for me was around 20000 so I got into electronics and communication. Then after that, we need to visit the campus for further admission process and the people in the college will assist in the process.
Faculty
The teacher-to-student ratio is good comparatively and students can approach the faculty members for any doubts regarding academics during college hours and the faculty members respond quite well to all the issues faced by the students. some courses even have special guides who are faculty members.
