The college is in developing stage and is getting better year by year.

The curriculum is very well planned as in it you will get enough time to get a good hands on and bookish knowledge. The curriculum does not have any free lectures in it but the lectures and labs are scheduled in such a way that one doesn't feel boredom.

The college only provides full time courses , thus internships cant be entertained from college end but one can avail internship for other companies during the courses.

The college holds the best placement record in the entire state university , one can easily get placed on campus if he doesn't spoils his/her academics. they are various mass recruiters companies which visit college every year and takes a a huge no of students. Where as various other companies also visit campus for their placement drives.

PSIT invests a good amount of time and money in various cultural and sports events. Every year college techno-cultural festival "IGNITIA" is celebrated on the large scale for 3 days, which consists of various small games, fair, and celebrity performances.

The fees structure is similar to various other private colleges only, but the only concern is that college asks for the entire deposit at once i.e. at starting of the academic year. The fees increases by around 10k every year and the fees structure varies from stream to stream.

College does provide its own scholarship based on individuals marks. One can also avail state government scholarship or fee waver seat.

The campus life is good and there is almost equal gender ratio. The campus follows co-education format and doesn't distinguish between boys and girls. College does focuses on extracurricular activities as there are various clubs formed which one can join for improving various skills such as singing, debating, dancing, designing and various other interests.

Hostel facilities are the best when compared to other colleges, the hostel includes of daily housekeeping , laundry , wifi and food. There are only double sharing rooms with option of AC/Non-AC. The food is provided 4 times a day which consists of healthy food. The taste for food depends on person to person as some people love it and some hate it.

All the alumni are also taken care by college as they are also part of the family. College has a job share portal as well which helps alumni to search for job even after passing out for college.

The college is affiliated to state university i.e. AKTU and follows their external exam pattern, where as college also has its own internal mid-sem exams which sum ups to the internal marks. The exams are scheduled very often but all on pre-planned dates. i.e no surprise tests

PSIT conducts its own selection test, it also takes admission through state and central entrance exams ranks such as JEE-Mains, UPTU Entrance exam. Unfortunately the time I took admission I got late for the PSIT entrance exam and missed the state counseling of state conducted exam as well , so there i wrote basis exam of reasoning & English based on which i got admission in PSIT(Direct Admission)

All the faculties in the college holds minimum masters degree in their profession and many of them are PhD. The faculties spend a good amount of time in explaining each topic and makes sure that each of the student gets clear understanding of all the topics.
