- Government owned institute, low fees, good reputation
- professors are good and supportive most of them are PhD holders
- placement opportunity is limited but present, good fests, beautiful campus

- old labs and outdated instruments and facilities
- no practical knowledge imparted, no facility for computer software skills
- skill development is low, you can be good only academically. Low opportunities in core EC field.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum seems to be outdated with the current demands of the core EC industry. No practical skills were imparted. Theoretical knowledge was present. In case of EC VLSI lab is absent, pcb programming is not taught.
Placement Experience
placement are average, students are eligible in the final year. No of companies visited is less as compared to other insititutes. Highest package may range upto 20lpa but it depends on the students who are sitting in off campus placements, average package is 3.5-4lpa. Around 50 percent students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is lowest among all the state universitites as it is wholly owned by the state govt. It is an autonomous institute so, exams and results are on time. Financial aid is available to SC/ST and OBC candidates only. Hostel fees is also very minimum. Highly affordable college.
Campus Life
Many fests happen throughout the year, MechTech Meet, LitFest, Ayaam which is the annual programme. Library has many books but limited in number. They allow 2 books per student in 1st year, and then no. of books which can be issued increases by 1 each year. But, all the books and stationary items are freely available for the reserved category students.
Admission
Entrance is through JEE mains for UG and through GATE for PG. Application fees is one time paid on the DTE MP counseling portal in the common counseling process. Frequency is once a year. Reservation benefits are available for SC/ST/ OBCs.
Faculty
Faculty are good, qualified and many of them are PhD holders. student to teacher ration is 1:50. They teach well but no subject is completed on time. We have to do the extra work. Teachers can be approached very easily.
