My Honest Review

BCA is bachelor of computer applications. It is actually of no use. Any non-technical student can learn the programming in less than a year and start working on any company meanwhile the student who is doing bca is getting nothing after completing three years of BCA because of lack of an advanced syllabus. Bca's students are learning about languages or software that is used in past 10 years so technically we are 10 years behind the technology we cannot work directly anywhere so all you studied is of no use. We have Visual Studio 2022 still we are using software of 2010 to study .net programming. At least at my university or college bca is of no use.

In our college we need to pay 15000 rupees per semester in which all other fees like exam fees, library fees, campus fees, etc are included. Which is quite good. While doing BCA students can take mysy scholarship which is available for all. This scholarship pays 9000 rupees per year for three years and students living in hostels get an additional 12000 rupees. There is nothing like stipends, job roles, etc.

There is no technical festival held in my college. We just celebrate the days(sports day, Bollywood day,etc) which is of no use. The library is large enough to store many technical and non-technical books. It is very easy to access the book from the library at the sem 1 student will get his library card. Once he gets the card he can easily get any book from the library. This is actually a plus point. There is one projector in every classroom which can connect to faculty devices like laptops so it becomes easier to teach students with live examples. Extracurricular activity is not the thing that happens in my college. Nothing like groups and clubs that affect the student.

Eligibility is to clear 12th board with a minimum pass class(minimum 33 per cent). On the website of Gujarat University student can fill out the form for this course. When the merit list comes out then you can at any college as per your priority list and as per merit. Everything will be declared on the Gujarat University portal one after another. The admission process is easy and simple once you get the college in Merit you need to go to college and then submit the required document and that's all.

All the faculties are good qualified to teach the technology students and except one or two all the faculties have 10 years of experience studying the student. student can easily approach any faculty. All of them are supportive and motivated. They also motivate students about how to enter the software field and what is needed and what is not needed.
