All about Gitam nursing life

Nursing curriculum is very tough usually. We have to write assignments, procedure files, records, clinical presentations , case study, history collection etc if you are ready to writw this much of content and study, i think the syllabus is very much similar to what mbbs students are studying every nursing student is studying every fields of medica science.

Intership in Gimsr hospital itself, Apollo hospital, Delhi Cancer Centre and others. We can get a starting package of around 15-20 k depending on the department we are on. we can utilise the working experience for value of our certificate and for our future.

Campus placements are offered. Placements in many good hospitals can be offered depending upon our mark. Even if we didn't score enough marks we get placed on Gimsr hospital which provides a starting package of 15k and stay in gitam residence with cheap expenses.

Scholarships in gitam is provided based on an entrance exam which is total of 120 marks, which includes maths chemistry physics and biology and some general knowledge. If we scorw above 100 we are eligible for scholor ships. With the help of these scholarships we can get reduction in the amount of fees we have to pay.

There are variety of clubs in gitam to enrol even if its not part of nursing, there ncc, sports,and other so many clubs are there. we can enrol via online and offline. We will get information of these through our gitam personal email id.

Hostel and mess facility is very good compared to other colleges. We can opt of either ac or non ac rooms of 3 menbers . If ure studying engineering or any other courses u can opt for single rooms, mess food distribution is in buffet method which is very good as we can eat as much as we want even if its non veg

I took my admission via a gitam agent in kerala. I got his mobile number through a friend which has been already joined, u can also take admission through their official website also. We have to pay our first semester fees via there portal and has to pay the hostel and other charges after arriving, incase you are opting for hostel stay

About faculty members i have to say that Bsc nursing faculty are very worse. I didn't liked them. Its same for each and every friend of mine.Their communication skill in english is very poor which affects in transferring to students.
