MET PGDM does give you an Edge

I am having the best 2 years of my life. I couldn't have asked more from a b-school. No doubt, why MET has been ranked as the 5th best b-school in Mumbai and has been awarded as the "Best Education Brand 2019" by The Economic Times. I am very proud to #BeAnMetian.

The course curriculum is industry driven. It covers everything that a modern manager needs to know. Along with the core PGDM curriculum, we have additional subjects like Big Data Analytics, Design Thinking, Derivatives, Real Estate, Digital Business, e-commerce, etc.

We have many good companies coming to campus. All our seniors have been placed in excellent companies like Future Group, Nielsen, TATA Croma, Deloitte, IDFC First, Aranca, TATA Motors, Citibank, etc. For summer internships, we had companies like Jio Studios, Balaji Telefilms, Anand Rathi, Axis Bank, Future Generali, NABARD, Motilal Oswal, Godrej, Pantaloons, Wipro, etc. on campus.

We have METamorphosis organised by Institute of Mass Media. We have big Bollywood personalities coming to the event. We have MET Utsav, which is the biggest event of the year. All the METizens come together to celebrate our togetherness. The event is no doubt a hit, but the preparations for it are more exiting. We all start preparing it a month before the event. We have so much fun along with our friends. We wait till midnight to practice our parts. We don't even realize how one month just goes away in a jiffy.

The fee structure of MET PGDM is the lowest among all the other PGDM courses in Mumbai. 1st Year fees: 3.15 lacs 2nd Year fess: 3.24 lacs We have railway concessions made available to us. Using that, we get around 50% discount on our railway passes. The prices of food in the canteen are also very reasonable. There is additional alumni membership fees taken from students. The outbounds and industrial visits are also free of cost.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan. But, MET PGDM does offer freeship to bright students who opt for the scholarship program.

We at MET believe that only work and no play will make METizens dull. We have MET World of Music where we go and jam with our friends. We also have a recreational area where we have Table Tennis, Carrom, etc. We have MET Combat, a intra college debate competition which let students showcase their debating skills. We had Robotics exibition in the month of January this year where we presented our knowledge about AI, AR, VR, etc.

MET PGDM is very proud to have a strong network of 1000+ alumni. We have a mentorship programme where alumni act as mentors and help us get live projects from the industry. We work on these projects under the close guidance of the mentors allotted to us.

It was a day long procedure but a very smooth process. The GD topics were based on the current trends. The volunteers were very friendly and were constantly putting efforts to keep everyone calm. Before our PI, we had to fill out a form which had basic questions which would help the interviewer know our personal details and interests at a glance.

The Faculty in MET PGDM are excellent. All of them have an experience of not less than 10+ years in the industry. They focus more on the practical part rather than the normal classroom theories. We have various group activities during our lectures where we learn how to approach different problems and come up with alternatives. Their lectures are equipped with all the latest case studies which help us to keep up with the industry trends.
