Course Curriculum Overview

4

1) I choose B.com honours course because they offer ACCA course for students who are pursuing B.com (H). B.com (H) doesn't require second language and includes additional credit paper on topics like international standards and foreign trade. 2) Avinash college of commerce provides range number of professional courses to students which includes (ACCA, CMA, CA) and so on 3) The college has number of clubs like : commerce club, literary club, sports club and so on 4) Avinash college of commerce organises freshers, farewell and every year one event where all other college students are invited to participate and enjoy. 5) it celebrates all kinds of festivals and trends By participating in events and organising these events students tend to learn things which can't be taught in through subjects. It prepares well for read - world applications.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

Internship opportunities provided to students are (sales development in some insurance companies ) There's not much internships opportunities provided by college if there is it's irrelevant to our courses.

Placement Experience

3

The students become eligible for campus placements in their 3rd year (5th sem). They have a campus requirement training (CRT) program to develop aptitude tests, logical reasoning, English grammar and interview practices. The college assures that 98% of students gets placed but in reality only few get placed in good companies like DUPONT (through professional course)

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 25000 in first year and additional of 5000 every year as a hike in fee. For ACCA the course fee is 50000 per year. And additional 5000 every year for materials My admission fee was 5000 The fee was based on merit (intermediate) For students who got (90 -100%) in inter/12th - 25,000 per year + 5000 every year For students who got (80-90%) in inter/12th - 35,000 per year + 5000 every year For students who got (70-80%) in inter/12th - 45,000 per year + 5000 every year For students who got (60-70%) in inter/12th - 55,000 per year + 5000 every year For students who got (50-60%) in inter/12th - 65,000 per year + 5000 every year.

Campus Life

0.5

At Avinash college of commerce you won't get ground or a canteen for students. They advertise broadly about their courses and all but who will take care of extracurricular activities. The management is sick they won't allow students to roam from one floor to other floor. The college is known for their AC's In every class that's it. There's no much space for the students to breathe and take break. The college is just average but hyped up in google through paid reviews I guess or with their advertisement trick.

Admission

As I took admission during 2021 post-COVID, the admission process was smooth. First, they call for counseling purposes where they explain about different courses + professional courses they offer and explain about fees. As I chose B.com (H) faculty said they usually take tests for this course but as it was just after the pandemic they didn't conduct any tests.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty-to-student ratio is such that each class has around 60 students, supported by nearly 50 teaching staff. The teaching staff is divided into departments under head like honors HOD, taxation HOD, and computer analytics HOD. The faculty holds phd and their teaching approach includes using boards, PPTs, their own notes, and relevant articles. we can interact with teachers at any time. There are no specific hours. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and dedicated to nurturing students.
