Average for academic, good for extra curriculum.

No updates in the syllabus for like a decade. We've been studying the same syllabus which 2016 batch was studying. However, the syllabus aligns to the course pretty well. They have smartboards but what is the use of it when you can't teach. Teachers just open PPT slides and read them. You have to actively put efforts if you wanna get good at academics here. You cannot rely on faculty alone. Exams are quite easy here, if you come from CBSE or ICSE, you'll find them piece if cake.

I didn't had any expectations from my college to provide any placements because of the lack of hiring and the current market situation. However, surprisingly, 3-4 companies came for campus placement like Accenture, Deloitte, TCS. This was a mass hiring placement and the everyone was offered same role, around 20% of all BCA students were employed. Package was around 2.5 - 3LPA. My current plan after degree is to start job as soon as I get my joining letter.

There are different brackets of fees here, comsidering your score in 10th and 12th. According to these, you get a scholeship, and you have to maintain that score in upcoming semesters to avail the scholarship. Scholeships are anywhere between 10K to 25K/semester. Extra fees included is about 11K and an extra 12K amount paid yearly which includes Transport fees, labs, exams, events, etc. The overall yearly fees for my course (BCA) was around 90K to 100K including extra fees. So, overall my course was finished in about 3.2L fees.

Fest is organised once a year in the month of May, our college fest name is GRAFEST. Invited guests were Ayushman Khurana, Neha Kakkar, Badshah, DJ Chetas, Urvashi Rautela, etc. Clubs and events are organised very frequently here. A student can socialize with other students easily. Library mostly has every book related to courses, I myself issued a few during my course.

I took this course totally by accident. I didn't do much good in 12th class so I thought to choose some basic course. There wasn't any qualifying criteria for admission. You just have to submit your 10th and 12th marksheet and it's done. Though scholarships are available if you have good score in your 12th grade. You can fill the application form online on their website as well as visit the admission office. They're quite good at explaining fee structure so I suggest to pay a visit yourself. Application fees for my course was 1200/- in the year 2021. Now it's about 1250/- this year. Exams are quite easy, atleast for me. You can clear them by studying a night before. You'd find them much easier if you come from CBSE or ICSE. Admission process is good and I don't think there can be any improvement. You can have yourself admitted the same day as of enquiry if you have complete documents.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:80 or 1:90. There are enough faculty but they aren't very focused in really teaching. They prepare PPTs at home and just read them in the class, then they provide the same PPT in the class group before exams. I think this is the part where this institute lacks. Faculty must be focused on the best of students. I've encountered only 2-3 good faculties here.
