Course Curriculum Overview
My course Msc Agriculture Extension and Communication is to communicate and educate the people of rural area. So in order to help the farmers and people in the rural areas in improving their skills and giving all possible help.i choose this course. There is a lot of scope for my course Msc agricultural extension and communication. I study research methodology, communication, agricultural economics,finance, enabling Innovation,gender sensitisation, capacity development, education, information technology, statistics etc.. so I can apply any bank exams,or I can become a Assistant professor by taking NET exam by ICAR or any competitive exam and the pay scales are so huge and also I can study PhD further if I want to for this I can get scholarship through AICE jrf exams around 40k above .I have also published my research on black rice. I can become a Subject matter specialist and apply for job in the krishi vigyan Kendra or I can go to psychology line.. like this my course has a huge scope
Fees and Financial Aid
My course fee is 47000. I am a general student so I can't get any concession..Most of my friends got concession because they are Christians,OBCs and STs. That's good but I also need financial help and it makes me sad. The good initiative e is our college offers 50% admission fees and course fees for students from Manipur due to war
Campus Life
Annual sports meet. North Eastern Prayer Fellowship sports meets. Thesis and journals by every MSc final students and PHD students are available in Central Library ,Shuats. Photography Clubs,Sports Club etc
Hostel Facilities
Provides Men's and women's hostel in separate building inside the campus with a good facilities, Breakfast,Lunch and dinner are provided everyday except Saturday where dinner is not given and they can cook for themselves
Admission
Bsc Agricultural Students are eligible for the course. Application form and admission for are available now at shuats.edu.in. 50% fees reservation for Manipur and Christain students. 4 class tests and 1 final exam for each semester
Faculty
The faculty provides us a lot of learning experience. I have learnt alot from our department teachers and they also give me the good amount of marks as expected. Teacher and students interaction are very good there.
