Mechanical Engineering at RITEE

The good points are that the college is ragging free and the timing of the first year students is also different. The Bad point is that college is far away from the city. The college management is average.

The course vision is to make the student understand the basics of engineering. All the subjects are divided into 8 semesters. Each semester has two class test/mid-semester then the end semester exam and practicals. Yes, the course is designed to help the students in the best way.

There are training and placements departed solely focused for the placements of the students but most of the company came were BPO and some of my friends got placed there. ITC FOODS came and I cleared the written exam but couldn't clear the GD round but one of the students got placed with 5.4 lacks per annum package.

The events celebrated are RIOT FEST this is the annual fest of the college of 3 days. The first two days are for sports and the last is for cultural performances and prize distribution. Other than that we also celebrate Teachers day, Engineers day, Environments day and many more in which slogan writing, poster making, essay writing, rangoli competition are conducted.

The fees are divided into semester wise. Which includes the tuition fee, sports fee, and caution money. At my time the first year fees were 73620 other than that you have to pay once 500 for the smart card. You also have to pay for training and placements fees for the last two years.

There is no scholarship however if you are the branch opener than you get some concession on your first sem. The education loan is also present with 0% interest it helps some students to achieve there goal.

The campus life is good you will love the environment of the campus. The gender ratio depends on the branch mainly. We have a variety of extracurricular activity like sports, singing, and dancing. Each branch has its own labs which aim to boost the practical knowledge. The robot race was also conducted in the RIOT FEST.

The hostel fess is very high compared to other colleges. At my time the hostel fee was 65000 per year which was later changed to 70000 per year. The hostel facilities are just average. In one room 4 students stay each has a separate cupboard, table, and chair to study. each room has the desert cooler for summer.the hostel has its own gym.

The alumni network is not that good. But the senior students help a lot to juniors. They are very helpful they will provide you the notes of subject important topics. And also clear your doubts if you have any. They also give tips related to exams.

After passing my 12th standard you have given the entrance exam named as CG PET in which you give the exam and thereafter you get the marks and ranks according to your marks. Then you have to fill your choices of college. Then the allotment starts according to your ranks against your choices if you got good rank then you will get your desired college.

The faculties here are very experienced and there the main objective is to make you understand each and every concept of the subjects and they are also passed from the reputed colleges. You can clear any of your doubts at any time even after college hours. This is the best thing about this college.
