I am in the Junior college, so we were admitted through a government-online procedure. The procedure had been simplified by the help of guide-books given to us during admission.

We in junior college study in the HSC board of Maharashtra. The Arts curricula is detailed and informative, with a larger focus on application of skills. There are a wide range of subjects offered in Arts SYJC(Second year junior college).

No. I have not opted for on-campus placement. As I elaborated earlier, I a currently pursuing arts in the junior college. So pursuing internships and jobs does not for a part of our curriculum. One may opt for it outside of college, and the college can assist by furnishing a no objection certificate, as was in my case. But I have not yet opted for placements on campus or through the college.

Mithibai is known for its cultural festivals. We students prepare throughout the year to organise our festival called Kshitij. It boasts of a host of activities ranging from the literary arts, performing arts, to the culinary arts (to name only a few) Also, since the past few years, the LitCon or the literary festival has gained momentum in my college.

I a pursuing a course that is government-funded. So the fee structure in First year junior college and second year junior college is extremely feasible. I think this is also nice because it makes sure even the people with slightly lesser means can the get the best of education and opportunities.

There are several scholarships and freeships that the college offers to students. There are complete fee waivers for meritorious and qualifying students who are currently pursuing my course. Infact, there is even a college student aid fund in place that helps students pay their term fees.

I am a regular at events on campus. Especially the debates and quizzes. They are extremely well organised. They have students from all the good colleges of Mumbai in attendance. This provides for a great competitive experience.

There are two term exams for us in the whole year. One for each semester course that we complete. The exam structures are actually delineated to us since the very beginning. It forms the basis of how we prepare throughout the year. Not only are there written examinations, but projects are also assigned for each subject.

The Arts faculty of Mithibai is clearly the best in the city. They are all people with profound knowledge and experience and are always willing to lend it to us. A little postscript for my language teacher in Mithibai, who is a gem of a person. Along with being a published author, she is an accomplished lady and is a guide for our aspirations.
