Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Computer science to gain It sectors experience, but in this course we have to clear some papers that never been used in our future. Also improvement of computer lab is highly preferable for this course
Internships Opportunities
Some small companies offer internship like Accenture, sentiangicks. But students aspect more internship from college but college is not highlighted this matter. According to NIRF ranking of the college students aspect more help from college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Midnapore college is an autonomous college. Here many subjects for graduation is available, Computer science is one of them. While getting admission in this college a student has to pay approximately 8000 rupees for each semester. That means for three years course (6 semester) a student will have to pay near about 50000 rupees. But according to new education policy B.Sc in Computer science is a 4 years course that means total 8 semester. According to the Midnapore College admission portal report of 2024 a student has to pay 8650 rs for first semester only and total 64400 rs in 4 year. Caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees,lab fees, and the other compulsory charges is included with the total fees mentioned above. All eligible students can get scholarship from govt scholarship schemes.Like SVMCM, Oasis etc. For example: For SVMCM scholarship an eligible student from any B.Sc stream get 18000rs per year and student from any BA stream get 12000rs per year.
Campus Life
College celebrate all the annual festivals. Every year college publish magazine. A lot of books and journals are available in college library. Smart class room are not available.It is needed. College organises annual sports and cultural activities each year. Personaly I like most in this college is that here is not any union or political club in college campus.
Admission
Admission process in this college is done by online method. A student must fill up the application for online and submit. Then merit list will publish at the date mentioned. Then a student get a link for payment. After payment the student will be admitted successfully. For important dates of admission a student must check the college's admission portal.
Faculty
Students need more classes but there teachers are not available to take class so more teachers are needed. Also the teachers maitain high standard teaching approach that helps the students. And teachers are very friendly,so interaction with teachers are nice.
