- The attendance issues. strict rule of 75% attendance.
- Strict rule of timing. You have to wait till 3.00 pm to leave college campus.
- There is not PG hostel for science students.
Course Curriculum Overview
You have various types of curriculam like educational tour, industrial tour, certified courses, etc. You can gain knowledge practically in the lab. Lab is decent and the professors are very helpful. Their teaching method is so good. The exam's difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There is not so good internship opportunity because no companies visit here for placements. Itis a general degree college. If you want any internship you have to try for own. Then you should get the internship or job.
Placement Experience
There is not On-campus placement on B.Sc in chemistry subject. You have to try for off-campus of higher study. Basically very less amount of students are placed after B.Sc. So, you should focus on higher study.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total graduation fees is 30750/-. The fees depends on semester. Like, 1st sem fees with admission is- 4400 rs. 2nd sem fees- 4360. 3rd sem fees - 4510, 4th sem fees- 4360, 5th sem fees- 3310, 6th sem fes- 3260. The examination fees also varies on semesters. Here you get SVMCM scolarship which is provided by the state gov. It is 18000 rs for science students.
Campus Life
There is a anual fest happens and another feast is teacher's day. Students take participate in verious types of cultural activity like dance,sing Rabindra Sangeet, poem etc. The library is decent.Classrooms are good.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good. As this is an women college that's why there is a big and affortable hostel facility. There is not PG(science) hostel. Fees of hostel for bed is around 2k or it can be <2k, actually it depends.
Admission
I have applied at Midnapore college and This college(gope college). Unfortunately I couldn't get call from Midnapore college so I have choose this college. This gollege is very good, and i haven't any regret that i couldn't get Midnapore college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. There is not so many students so, the focus on each student's growth of knowledge.The faculty members are so good and helpful. In every semester there is three exams happens. 1st one is 1st internal, 2nd one is 2nd internl and 3rd one is The end sem exam.
Interview Experience
For UG admission you can take admission upon HS number. But for pg admission you have to give the pg admission test. For ug admission 1stly you have to fillup the form and submit it.Then if tou have decent marks for admission you get email and further process willbe given by college.
