Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The frequency and timing is a bit complicated but it is mostly the universities fault. The university has a very unpredictable timetable that is informed at the last moment mostly. The curriculum is completely relevant and applicable to the real world.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the first year was 1,72,000 and from the second year to the fifth year the fees is 2,00,00 rupees. Scholarships are available based on the performance in scholarship exam. But many times the college let's you keep the scholarship for just a year or so. The requirements for the scholarship are too much- you need 95% attendance and an above 8 CGPA

Campus Life

5

The social life is amazing. I am a part of many committees, and have made many friends here. It does take a little while to adjust but now with my first year being over, it is a bit better and I love my life of handling my academics, my committee work, my external moot competitions

Hostel Facilities

3

The room provides a cupboard, a twin bed, a desk and a chair. The washrooms are communal. Meal quality is of course not something that is phenomenal but it is okay. It's not bad. My first year I stayed at the hostel and now I stay at a PG, which is 10 mins away from the college.

Admission

I applied to NMIMS Bangalore, Manipal University, Bangalore and I got selected in Manipal. I did not go to Manipal because they couldn't guaranteed placements. For the admission process, one just has to pay the fees, fill the form and then their is an interview and then based on the selection is determined.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is amazing. Really approachable and encouraging to participate in extra curriculars as well as academics. There are three exams in total in each semester. Mid-sems for 10 marks for KSLU, end sems for 50 marks for the college CGPA score and the last end term is for 80 marks for KSLU.

Placement Experience:

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.

The worst they are very unfair the faculties leak the question papers for money and take money from students under the table for clearing their backlogs nd for year back. Most faculties are worthless they don't kn how to teach or explain they discriminate on the basis of ethnicity.
