Everyone simply loves the college and even today most of them are proud to have been studied here. It has taught us a winning attitude in life.

Entrance Preview

CET. Based on availability in the college. I had very good perception about the college and it was my dream college. You need to take up CET and PU exam. Based on CET rankings, you will choose the available branch and college. From college end there was hardly any other charges.

It was designed by VTU and was good. It exposes to most common fields like mechanical basics, civil basics, electrnics basics , computer science basics and others and then gets into specific stream from 2nd year and last year will have opportunity to work as interm with industry so overall great

BMSCE UTsav is one of the best fest held in the city. it brings all the students and alumni . It was designed by VTU and was good. It exposes to most common fields like mechanical basics, civil basics, electrnics basics , computer science basics and others and then gets into specific stream from 2nd year and last year will have oppurtunity to work as interm with industry so overall great.

I was part of chess team and there was always great encouragement to all sports and extra activities.

Hostel was simply one of the best with individual rooms. food was great compared to other college but can be better.

Great. I did'nt interact much. But i have seen most of them do great wonders in their life. All my interactions i have great respect to the individuals and it was fun.

Good. There were some not soo great. Faculty also has the DNA of BMS and does not bother students much with attendance and assignments.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

The 6th,7th and 8th semesters are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting campus but it differs every year. The highest package is 7L-8L and the lowest package is 3L. My plan after getting a degree is to get a job in a good company.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Hence the reason for choosing it..Admission process is throgh competetive exams or management quota.Competetive exams taken are COMEDK and KCET...the cutoff ranks again depend on the branch but go as low as 2000 for CS and related branches and upto 50000 for Civil and others..it can go even higher if reservation applied)...Read More

Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference. The admission process is easy not much hectic. They will provide all the procedure required for admission. They even have their own mail system, they provide college mail id to all the students. I chose this college because I wanted to pursue CSE and this college seems to be a good option to do so. I did get rejection from a few colleges because I could crack their entrance exam.
