Remarks

They are mostly not bothered. Director is only after fees collection

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

AKTU, as usual, is pathetic. Exams are on time and results are also on time. The research I don't know, we do not have Mpharma in the college. Study tours are often organised to the industry with excursions, which is good. Need more of personality development courses.

Placement Experience

4.5

They have a strong alumni base in Baddi most students are getting placed. The placement cell is currently not very active.

College Events

5

Disha, freshers and farewell. Some tours are good for knowledge and fun. The annual event is kind of popular as they organise it in a Big way. Singers are invited for publicity of college. Students get a big platform to perform and many students participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1,50,000 per year with the hostel. They make it mandatory to stay in the hostel for all 4 yrs. Initially, I felt bad but the result of hostilities is better than day scholars. They don't refund caution money as per seniors but now they are giving a discount on initial fees to adjust.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes and I got the scholarship, most of my batchmates get the scholarship from Samaj Kalyan, College helps in scholarship

Campus Life

4

Labs are good, the annual event has technical and cultural events. Most students participate in cultural activities and some students in Diabetes, quiz, hardware etc. Sports also like football, cricket, badminton, volleyball etc are played. Fields are BIG but no trainers.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Food is satisfactory but the overall campus is huge and good. Menu not followed at most times, food is hygienic and in sufficient quantity. Quality is also OK. presentation of food not good, they have now bought machines like chapati maker, steam cooker for Rice etc which has improved quality.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes very much, Most students are given openings through passed out students. Industry know-how also comes from them.

Admission

My father took me to this college, I was given admission through management quota. It was the best choice with the terms of the most affordable fees. Most colleges in LKO were asking for a donation but this college didn't ask even though they were an old college and all seats are full.

Faculty

5

Less but all good with a lot of experience. Mostly supportive, guest faculties are also there but not many from the industry. Some faculties teach from the book which is not good. Use of technology in teaching is very less. Students mostly study on their own. Attendance is not monitored that hard.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
