Students Life and Academics at Manipal University Jaipur

Course Curriculum Is a bit utdated like in other colleges as well but the best part is that faculties keep guiding students with current trends and opportunities and also help them with their skill enhancement. Course curriculam can be made more practcial based rather than theroy but improvements are taking place with time and I hope it will surely improve in the future.

Internships opportunities are there in college both paid and unpaid it depends on the student's abilities and skills if he or she gets selected for certain internships or not. Companies do arrive in our college for internships like DELL and students have to sit for an exam and should go through a Interview round for that.

Campus placements are good seeing that the college isjust few years old average package we have in our college is 6LPA . We do have some good companies that hire students from our college through campus placements like DELL, Mahindra, Flipkart, Delloite, JP Morgan and many more.

Tuition Fees: 410000 Registration Fee: 10000 Caution Deposit: 15000 Total: 435000 Scolarships on the basis of marks scored in qualifying exams and also for students who come from a financially weaker section if they maintain a CGPA of 9.0 and above they get scholarships accordingly. TMA PAI Engineering Scholarship: 100% Tuition fee waiver for topper and 50% for second topper and eligibility criteria if parents's combined ITR< 8lakhs Scholarship For btech lateral entry: 25% Waiver for students above 90% in 12th and 9 cgpa in college.

The campus is very beautiful and wonderful social life with students coming from all around the world gives a lovely exposure and makes life really fun and interesting in college. We do have many clubs and societies and students can join them by giving certain interviews and clubs do provide great exposure to enhance one's personality.

Hostel Facility is really good we have viberant rooms with all the necessary requirements of a student with a centralised AC, Hot water facility, amazing food and various outlets and hotels as well for students.

I applied in BITS Pilani and Manipal University Jaipur and was getting admission in both but in bits I was getting course that was not of my choice so I chose MUJ over BITS. If we talk about infrastructure almost same facilities as in bits. College admission process is really simple students have to fill Manipal Entrance Test and according to their marks and rank they get selected in different courses if a student has good score in 12th or in JEE he or she can even join through direct admission.

Faculty student relations are really good when it comes to availability faculties are available through calls and whatsapp after college hours as well to solve students doubts and issues. We have two exams in each semester one is Mid Term Examination which is of 30 marks and other is End Term Examination which is of 80 marks and later on is converted to out of 40 and 30 marks internal and assignments. So, 30 of MID TERMS+ 30 INTERNALS + 40 END TERM= 100 marks Exams are not that difficult if a student in into studies regularly he or she can easily maintain a good CGPA of 8.0 and above.
