Course Curriculum Overview
My college is Autonomous college. They removed some key subjects like FEM, THERMODYNAMICS, REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING and PRODUCTION DRAWING, this subjects are so important for mechanical engineering but they remove this subjects instead they add open elective subjects from another branch like ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, DATA SCIENCE, IOT.
Internships Opportunities
They provide us with a internship in some local start ups. In final year they provide full semester internship in Delphi-TVS company in chennai for 4 months as short term trainee role. In that company we work as a machine operator for a line
Fees and Financial Aid
In this college year-wise fee for my course tuition fee is 35000, university fee is 5000 per year. Examination fee is 1500 per semester. Campus recruitment and Training fee is 500 per semester. The tuition fee of 35000 is scholarship by the state government and centre government combined. State government gives 14000 and center government 21000.
Campus Life
No extracurricular activities offered on the campus and also no technical festival, no clubs. But we have some games some times that to restricted to after colleges timings. No fun activities in college. Infrastructure provided by the college is good. Nice class rooms with good ventilation and seating with projectors.
Admission
To get the admission in this college I got rank in E-CET exam, after the counseling we have choice to choose different colleges in government site. After choosing some colleges based on our interests we can get seat in one of the colleges we applied based in our rank and marks and branch, this total process is done by government authorities no college or any student dont have anything to do. If we don't want the college we want we can go to 2nd counseling or management seat in our favorite college
Faculty
My college some faculty are good in teaching, and some are not good. They use ppt for all subjects. Some come and just read the ppt and go. But some are teach well. We have 2 semester per year. And two mid term exams per semester. 3 or 4 labs for semester.
