The best days of my life

This college is best for anyone who wants to learn and have fun and it would be the best 4 years of your life. Anyone who will pass from this college will definitely have a bright future. The college management may not be good at the time.

I gave AIEEE exam and got a decent rank in that to get a government college. IIIT Allahabad is better than many NITs so that is the reason I opted for IIITA rather than going to some other NIT. I always wanted to pursue computer science in my B.Tech but I got to know Information Technology is almost the same hence I took admission into IIITA as the placements are very good here.

The course curriculum is quite effective and we follow the same curriculum which the best universities in the world follow if one studies everything there is a lot to learn. The faculties are okay not very good but till now I haven't seen guys taking classes seriously. We mostly study online and try to learn new things on our own.

There is no college internship available here. One has to look for internships in other companies and stipend depends accordingly but almost all the guys get the internships in their 8th semester and they don't stay in college and at the end, they show their same company project to for the final evaluation.

Placements stats are quite good here. Almost 75% of the students get the dream package and it has got a record of 100% placements. All the top companies of the IT industry visit this campus and campus placement is over till December in the 7th sem and all are placed. In this college, you have got an advantage even if you don't know much rest assured you will get a job when you walk out of the college.

The biggest event of the college is "Effervescence" - The cultural fest of the college which last for 3 days which is quite fun with DJ nights, dance and singing performances, sports and celebrity nights and various other events organized and students from various colleges take part in that. Another event is "Aparoksha" which is a national level technical fest organized by IIITA in which students and other people take part from all across the country to show their innovations in technology. Apart from these, there are various other events organized from time to time like sports days, foundation day, etc.

The fee is almost Rs 1,10,000 per year leaving us to almost Rs 55000 per semester. The mess fee is near about Rs 12000 per semester depends on the no. of days as it Rs 90 per day. The hostel fee is Rs 9000(single room) or Rs 4500(double room) or Rs 3500(triple room). Tution fee is Rs Rs 35000 and there are some other fee like medical fee, examination fee, grade card fee which is about Rs 4000.

College provides an scholarship on Rs 20000 each semester if you have less annual income than 2,00,000 and you get above 7.5 pointers each semster. And also all top 6 student of the batch get Rs 40000 each year. Other than this college is in constant touch with any other state of national scholarship available and informs the students about that. Loan is easily available by all the banks as the college is a government one and well know.

Lab and the internet are awesome with the speed of about 10 Mbps. As this campus is new hence the infrastructure is good. The classes and labs are air-conditioned robotics competitions are organized and the students of IIITA have not only proved themselves here in the college but also in other colleges and won various awards. There are clubs related to each task, like the literary club, singing club, the dancing club which keep on organizing various events. IIITA has a very big sports ground where people play cricket football. It also has a badminton court, tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court and 2 gyms. The auditorium here is one of the most high-tech ones and is equipped with the latest technology.

Hostel rooms are pretty good everything is is in shape and you can even put a cooler in your room in summers(on your expense) without any charge for electricity. Every room has got a fan, an almirah, a bed, a chair, tube light, and a bulb holder and a LAN

College seniors are very helpful if you are seeking one. The time you get admission here you will interact with them and you will get to know in which filed you are headed. It has a strong alumni network many of the passed students are now working in big tech firms like google and facebook.

We have 2 exams in a semester. One is the Mid-semester exam and other is end semester exam. The lab for both of these exams are done prior to the written exams and mostly we don't get breaks between 2 exams and our exams mostly get over within a week. The con
