Business management in Oxford college of engineering is one of the reputed colleges in Bangalore. It has good infrastructure and a peaceful environment. It is the best place to expose the talents of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are dealt according to the VTU syllabus. The syllabus will be covered in beforehand and a revision is given to the students before the tests or exams. They conduct a regular test on the topics taken to make a student be thorough. The exam structure is systematic.
College Events
During 1st sem we celebrated consumers a day, Farmer's day, army day, girl child day, youth day so on which was separately conducted by the department of management. We attended entrepreneurship and development program where the entrepreneurs from different fields had come, which made us(students) know more about the current business, strategies in the business and in 2nd sem, we celebrated the ethnic day, and we celebrated management fest where students from different college had participated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is different for a different category. For management 275000( for the entire course duration) I got admitted through PGCET. I paid 23000 as tuition fees. Hostel fees are around 40000. Overall the college fees are comparatively less.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for a scholarship. It's named as post matric scholarship. I applied during the admission time and availed during the month of April.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is very good. There are different blocks such as engineering, dental, architecture, MBA MCA Mtech, There is no ragging and there is attestation bond made too. The labs are so clean and maintained properly. Sports day are conducted every year and they conduct marathon.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network is useful. They are in contact with us .they help us in all ways like how to go about placements and how to prepare for interviews and their(ex seniors)business strategies and plans which made them successful.
Admission
The admission process was so easy. It took hardly a day to finish all the admission process. The administration is etiquette. I got admitted through Pgcet and I went to the college on the mentioned date and finished my admission process in half day.
Faculty
Faculty of management studies focuses on management education more than just business management. They give a brief explanation about the case studies. The faculties here are so enthusiastic they bring out different activities daily and make the class very interactive. They provide an opportunity for students to give regular presentations. They motivate each and every student. They come up with business games.
