An affordable and decent college with a nice set of hostel room

I was like very interested in computer science especially the hardware architecture and the algorithmic part of it. How certain algorithms work on a hardware this was the question I always wanted an answer of. The curriculum over here covers all of these aspects and alot more. I am from B.Tech CSE, we study alot of core computer science subjects from Data Structures and Programming to Computer Networks and Databases and a lot more. Then when you come in your pre-final year you get a chance to slchoose you electives out of Blockchain, IOT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, AI, ML etc. which makes sure that you are learning in demand technologies. Combining these two things you are assured that you have a strong core as well as hot tech knowledge which makes you an outstanding graduate.

If you have a gpa greater than 7 or 7.5 you are eligible for mostly all the companies which come on campus for hiring. Most of the companies which come on campus are service based companies because our college needs more exposure which I'm sure it will get in the coming years because many of the students here are hardworking. So most of the people choose campus placements. Some get back to their family businesses and a chunk prepares for GATE, CAT or GMAT for higher studies. Placements need to be a bit more better and we can do it.

There was a registration fee of Rs 5000 in 2021. After that we were supposed to pay a Tution fee of Rs. 45000 per semester and a hostel fee of Rs. 40000 per semester. You have to pay Rs. 2000 per semester as the semester exam fee. There was no any other kind of fees charged. This is a fees structure which was followed for everyone irrespective of any reservation etc.

We have a techfest called UEMTechFest which is held every year. Sports events toh you'll see every month some cricket tournament, football tournament, basketball tournament and many more, from various sports clubs of the college. We have a nice 400 m long jogging track, 3 well floored basketball courts. 4 badminton courts, a cricket ground, two volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts, TT room, one thing we miss is a swimming pool which the authorities are planning to have. So when it comes to sports and fitness you will have a lot of options to do.

Rooms of this college 's hostel were one of the primary attractions while taking admission here. These are huge, like really huge rooms for 3 people with a 5 big windows in each room so ventilation won't be an issue. The washrooms are cleaned daily. The meal is something which can be better and it jas improved alot till now and it will improve I hope. If you are renting a PG you will have plenty of options like the Karni Palace a famous PG which is just 100 m away from the college main gate, and then there are some other PGs nearby. There is a market as well nearby so you won't have any problem with that as well also, Amazon, Flipkart fellows are always there if you need any more assistance.

I chose this college because of the proximity of it from my native place. The fees was also a major plus point. It was very affordable. Also it had a very good course curriculum in comparison to all the other options I was left with. The admission procedure was very smooth here. I had to write an exam called IEMJEE and with grace I had a quiet decent score and got my preferred branch. I got rejected from all the IITs and NITs because of low score in JEE, I should have studied for JEE more.

Faculty to student ratio is okayish, the relations here are very good. There is a mentor mentee program which provides every student a chance to connect with a faculty mentor throughout his/her tenure and then that mentor helps you in your projects, up, downs etc.
