Likes

I liked the college campus and the college fest, the people in the college are very friendly.
The teachers are very knowledgeable, and are respectable. I have learned many qualities from them.
The curriculum and the personality is too real, it is legit.

Dislikes

One thing missing in the sports sector is basketball court
The parking facility is a little less for bikes
The students are not allowed to bring there four wheelers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The timing of the exams are perfect sometimes there are delays here and there but the timing is perfect. The curriculum prepares us for the real world or in further academic terms as in they are very useful and helps in our overall personality development

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees structure in the college but there is a lot of scholarship available in the college, through government, very easy and accessible for students we just need some documents and COI for the scholarship

Campus Life

Lot of Clubs to join from, the sports variety to join is a lot. If you wanna join there are options like badminton, table tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, cricket, and football. There is a NCC too if you are intrested in that

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college because ever since I was little I had been seeing people going to this college because it is really near to my home so I've seen people go here and go a lot because I think it was a good choice for them For admission we have to apply online through the portal and the college will release the list of candidates after a month

Faculty

The course structure and marking schemes everything is great very easy to understand 2 sessionals and one end end term for each semester and the second sessional could also count as practical in some bsc and bcom departments

My College Review

Fees and Financial Aid:

64500 is the semester fee , and with scholarship it's 50000 per semester, and with bus fee it is total of 65000. And scholarship is applicable above 70% and around total of 1,000,00 is paid. And with COI in Sikkim it's about 25% scholarship.

my college is best

Course Curriculum Overview:

-Chemistry is a fun subject which applies both pratical and theoretical aspect of learning.Its easy to grasp the context of you have good visualisation and listening ability -Lets face is Natural sciences in Bachelor's won't really prepare you for anything except your masters degree, which you will have to appear in NET for anyways -The course curriculum could be much more simplified and linear, it is extremely difficult to find any material online to study, hence if you miss a few classes your are doomed. Visual learning and more infrastructure would be much more appreciated -in my opinion the exams are way too frequent as mentioned before 3 exams per semester= 18 exams for your 3 year B.Sc course Keep in mind is is pre NEP -

A review to smit college.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. As currently I'm at 3rd semester I don't have idea about placements and all. The only thing I know is that if you have excellence academic performance you will get great placement which is other word you can say students with high performance in their course will get great placements.

From 6 semesters students are eligible for applying on-campus placements. There are ample companies like Sun pharma, Biju's, Mercedes-Benz, Hilton, ICICI Bank, Indigo, and many more. In 2018, 90% placement was provided. However, I have decided to continue studying after my graduation. If you all are willing to work you can sit for placement opportunities.

I got admission into this college through the merit list procedure as I have applied for B.Sc and for engineering you have to give the SRMJEE exam to get through to this college.You have to yourself visit the college for verification of documents.

-Colleges I applied for : SMIT: B.Sc Chemistry, SMIMS: B.Sc MLT, Cardiovascular Tech. I choose this college because I only need a B.Sc degree for my further decision of giving competitive exams, hence did not prefer to spend on fancy degrees -I got accepted into all the colleges I applied for( not bragging,it's easy) -You apply online after finishing your 12th, bare minimum of 60% is required on your main subject (depends on your course).
