My chemical engineering experience in NIT raipur

Course curriculum is okayyish but could be better considering there's a lot of people trying to go for further studies and preparing for exam such as GATE. Although the curriculum isn't that bad it gives real life application and fundamental knowledge about the course

Various companies provide internship in this college such as tredence,ZS, trident etc.. Stipend vary for every company but it remains something 1 lakh for 9 weeks ZS and tredence are companies which give project for data analysis

After 6th semester students become eligible for placement. Alot of companies visit our college for campus placement such as phone pe,ZS associates,tredence,sprinklr Companies like phone pe,ZS offers packages of 18-20 lakh maximum and and avg of 15-16 lakh Placement percentage of this college is around 76% and talking about chemical last time the placement percentage was around 96% M about to go for a non core job

Few structure of NIT Raipur Doesn't vary alot. This year the fee for btech students are almost 1 lakh 40 thousand in this the tution fees cost around 1 lakh 20 thousand and rest of the charges are for Library,lab etc..along with this there are alot of state or national level scholarship which can be avail. This institution provide fee weaver for students with yearly income less than 7 and 1 lakh.for students having less than 1 lakh yearly income they don't have to payrl tution fees and just rest of the charges which tends to almost 17k and students with income less than 7 lakh pay only 30% of the tution fees

There's a lot of festival which happens in this college such as samar (sports fest) ,aavartan a science techn exhibition, ecklectika the largest fest in central India all of these fest help between December to January Library offer almost every type of journals and books Classroom are pretty old style doesn't have an AC and smart board just simple projector with a black board Sports and activities in this college is pretty good students take participation with alot of interest and enthusiasm. There are various club committee such as shaurya sports committee, sanskriti cultural committee, raga music club, nrityam dance club, technocracy tech club

I applied for various other colleges such as NIT Hamirpur NIT Jalandhar etc..i opted this college cuz the connection over here is pretty good the college is located at the centre of the city which make it quite easy for us to do any sort of work.. I got rejected from NIT Hamirpur because of my rank..but m fine with this college for now First we have to get all the documents which the college tell us to provide...after that we go inside the college and then we stand in a line and one by one every student get's their documents verified after all this we have to pay the fees

Faculty to students Ratio here is pretty average there's 1 faculty for every 20 students and they are really helpful and can be easily approached.for me prabhir Ghosh sir from chemical department and VK singh sir from chemical department are my favorites because they are always ready to help you out in any situations.there are few faculties who may sound rude and unpleasant but they don't hold any personal grudges with anyone so everything's alright. There are 2 exams in every semester mid semester and end semester exams...in each semester exams we have lab exams and theory exams so in 1 semester we have to give 4 lab exams and 14 theory exams
