Likes
- Ethiraj college have a good education atmosphere. Decent languages used inside the campus by everyone. Spacious and neatly designed each class rooms, good canteen with reasonable food rates. Affordable rates provided in canteen for everyone.
- We had cultural programs in college and we have other variety of interractions with outside people for preparing the cultural program.
- Our faculty are good in teaching at the same time they are little strict at classes. We have seperate library to use.
Dislikes
- Since college is built with big campus and we need to walk very long from one department to other and to canteen.
- Everytime seniors will collect money from each classes for some other programs
- Sometimes there will be queue at canteen
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the faculty should travel at same. If we dont like course we wont study. If we like faculty we will definitely take interest to involve in the subject. So faculties plays an important rolein studies in the way of their teaching.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees i paid 25000 and additional fees 5000.only one group people got scholarship for 1000 monthly from government. Other batchmates had a little higher fees additionally for science based groups. And some lesser fees for economics and english literature group.
Campus Life
We had a big library which includes all department books. Which is actually good for all students. There are many programs held at every months and quarter months by each departments. We had tennis, volleyball, football, and other more sports kn our college to participate. Students go outside to other college to participate.
Admission
Admission process is actually not tough in our college. It is good. I tried more than 5 colleges but dint get through it. Because of the distance and fees. In ethiraj college got admission very quickly , inspite i went at the last time .
Faculty
Actually our faculties are good and they are very helpful with the students. They guide them to learn the subjects. I like mythili mam who took financial accounting. I got little scared with income tax subject faculty. Forgot her name. We had only little exams at that time. Which is actually good one. We learnt ans understand the lesson.
