Remarks

The college provides you with the best possible experience. Faculty is very nice and pretty friendly. The more you spend you time around the campus, the more you learn.

Entrance Preview

XIC has an internal process that starts with a written test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was well detailed covering various fields of the industry inlcuding - advertising, marketing, journalism, events, branding & marketing. This helps you get a basic idea of all the related industries and also how are these closely KNIT.

Internships Opportunities

I passed out in 2007 so that time around stipend was above 8-9k. Totally depends on you interview performance at these interviews also. The best of the best agencies come for the campus placement. College offers great assistance in the process preparation.

Placement Experience

3.5

The best of the best agencies come for the campus placement. College offers great assistance in the process preparation. Post internship, most student got offers in the companies they were interning with.

College Events

3.5

XIC shares the campus with Xavier College hence there is always some or the other buzz happening in the compound. At XIC, you will have an annual convocation day, orientation day, movie-festival is held sometimes, some workshops. Host of activities keep popping up throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is extremely affordable. In 2007 it was about a lac for the 9 month course which extends to close to a year taking into account the internship phase.

Fees and Financial Aid

During my batch i don't remember any student joining on the basis of scholarship. Loan and all, am sure banks would be able to provide.

Campus Life

3.5

The life is fun. Its a mix of education, extracurricular, functions, events and hell lots of other things. Parties and all depends on your circle. In no time, you will have your group as the class size is generally small.

Hostel Facilities

2

Don't have very good review on the hostel and mess food. Also, hostel is hardly ever vacant. Its full of Xavier students hence most people end up staying at PGs at close by locations. Those too are pretty affordable depending upon the facilities you choos

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are often invited to take a class or two, to discuss their experience. Its fun to interact with them and get deep insights of the actual work field.

Exam Structure

You will be working on a lot of projects for each subject. Although they become very hectic as your daily classes only end at 8-9 pm, but they are very interesting. It gives you ample opportunity to apply all that you have learned with assistance from all

Faculty

4

Faculty is well-trained and the guest faculty are the experts on their industry. They give you detailed perspective of their various subjects which is often an eye-opener as new comers come with a very different image of the industry. Classes are very int

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
