Supportive faculty, Good infrastructure and feasible.

College management is okay, not the best though. Improvements should be made. The auditorium and the halls are in need of a better management system(for the speakers and projectors etc.) Canteen is not so good. Food is not available 24/7. If you are hungry, you'll have to make other arrangements. Either order food or keep biscuits etc. There are no nearby restaurants available.

The course curriculum and the exam structure is all decided by the AKTU as our college is affiliated to it. Had it been a university, the college would have decided the same. For the past few years, AKTU is reducing the no. of subjects. We had studied only 3 subjects in the first semester and 4 in the 2nd semester while our 4th-year seniors had 7 subjects in their first year. This has although brought a lot of ease to the students but it has its own demerits.

Coming to placements in our college, it has tie-ups with some good companies. Pool campus placements have also held in the recent months. For more detailed info, you can visit the college website.

Our annual fest Udhghosh is one of the major events celebrated in the college. Celebrities visit the college for their film promotion once in a year. You can participate in any event you like but you must have some background knowledge about it. The seniors will help you further in the events.

The first year fees were 124000/- as of 2018 of CSE branch. You'll get some discounts on it based on your 12th marks. There are also other ways to get admission too. Other expenses include dress fees, fine of late submission of Library books. Some events require some minor participation fees too.

I don't know about the process of education loan but if you are considering opting for it, you should ask the local bank officials regarding it(where you live). For the ease of education loan, you should have a good connection with the bank officials. There are state scholarships available. You can get detailed info about it from the registrar and from the respective department.

Campus life is good. It's up to you, how much you are involved in the events, your friends, etc. Boys are more in our college as compared to girls. If you enthusiastic and dedicated about the robotics, debates, competitions, etc, you'll be completely supported by the college. They are very helpful in this respect.

The hostel life is the main deal breaker of this college. Food quality is as bad as it can get. Facilities like gym, laundry are good enough considering the hostel fees i.e 73000/- and 5000/- for laundry. 24-hour electricity facility is available. Hostel wifi is just another bait for the students.

Seniors students are helpful. There are no ragging issues as such. There is anti-ragging helpline available too. Alumni network is good. They visit sometimes. Treat others as you want to be treated yourself.

The admission process is effortless and easily manageable. You can either get direct admission based on your 12th marks or through UPSEE examination. For the admission dates, you can have a visit to the college if you live nearby and is feasible or you can just contact with the college's website (https://www.itsecgn.edu.in). I got direct admission based on my 12th marks.

Most of the faculties are excellent in our college. They make sure that we understand the concepts completely. You can also ask for some extra time after the classes if you have other doubts. They are never hesitant in helping the students. We are provided proper assignments and homework for practice.
