Likes
- Nothing is there for liking or memorised as no events, no fests, no functions etc happend in HMRITM.
- I have memories which my fellow mates made in third year as first two years are spend in covid.
- No travelling convinience, they provide college bus , but too costly.
Dislikes
- Didn't like campus, travelling issue, classrooms are not good, no AC in classrooms
Course Curriculum Overview
curriculum was good, teachers take lectures on time and complete the syllabus on time. Practicals were also done nicely with greate concentration. Offers arange of electives or specialised tracks that allow students to focus on area of interest. Soft Skils were also taken care of.
Internships Opportunities
from the T&P group of my college , we got many links for applying in companies for internship or job, but mostly there are comapnies which provides internships without stipend and some of them are sales companies which is not our field.
Placement Experience
Till 2022 companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc MNCs reached to my college, after that placement got decreased and in 2024 no company raeched. No student got placed on-campus, few are placed off-campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have got admission in 2020, from the counselling of GGSIPU. I got seat in HMRITM in BTECH(CSE). First I paid 40,000 as seat acceptance fee and further I paid 75,800 as due fee for admission process, in which an amount of 5000 includes as security deposite which is refundable after the graduation. In total I paid 1,18,800 fee in first year. aftewrads for rest 3 years I paid 1,13,800. GGSIPU aslo provides many scholarships for different categories like J&K migrants, EWS, Merit-cum means for SC/ST etc. But I got the scholarship only in first two years as after that the scholarship is not available I don't know why. Every year the fee got increased by approx 10K
Campus Life
My college life is all about travelling for 1-2 hours and some days 3hrs. I have only memories with my fellow mates in and off college. College didn't even conduct any activity or event or any other co-curriculum activity. Socities were also not there at first cause no faculty was ready to take responsibility. Infrastructure is also not good, its like an institute or school
Hostel Facilities
No hostels were provided by the college. there are PGs but far away in ALIPUR. I dont live in PG so I dont know much about that But my few fellow mates are there in PG some are in good condition, some are not, and the village area is also not good . Its very difficult to finds the things needed.
Admission
I got this college in counselling of GGSIPU. Because of the fee structure I can afford this college . It is near from my place, still no conviniece. Actually I didn't do research on colleges, thats why I took admission in this college. But later on I got to know that there are many more colleges with great facilities provided.
Faculty
Facult of our college is not permenent as they keep changing. After every two month some new professor joins. Director didn't give funds for conducting any event, students contribute the amount for themseleves , after that he didnt give permission
Interview Experience
I am an engineering student, I ve given JEE mains. Based on my JEE rank I got seat in HMRITM through counselling of GGSIPU. After I got seat, I paid the fee amount for admission. hence this is how I got admission.
