MAHE has many social, cultural and recreational opportunities in the campus, and social infrastructure. The Manipal Utsav and Techno Fest which are annual fests of MANIPAL University are famous festivals held here which reflects and honours the talents of students and helps in the unity of students. This is well supplemented by the array of books and journals that are available at the library that makes it easier to access academic materials. Facilities and use of technological provisions in classrooms is well enhanced taking an implication of well equipped learning ambience. Extra curricular activites in MAHE include a number of team games and sporting activities intended for a variety of talents. Furthermore the student initiated social groups, club, student home page are alone involved in complementing student life and student fellowship.

The Hostels of Manipal Academy of Higher Education is good and adaptive. Students can easily accommodate themselves in the hostels as they have provided a thick mattress, Almera, Table/chair, Shelf, Hanger etch as well as facilities like regular cleaning, clean washroom/bathrooms, Wifi, clean drinking water, security, 24 hours electricity, etc. Registration process in Hostels is quite simple and affordable. MIV provides a better facility and better environment in comparison to other Institutions. MIV also has a advantage with respect to exposure and output, it has many reputed National and International Collaborations as well as has maintained its supremacy among Research Institutions. I applied to other colleges but I was offered a specialised course so reason being I opted for the same. The procedure of admission is simple, after getting the admit you need to submit your original documents at the main building, submit hostel/mess fees and then you are done.

The Faculty to Student Ratio is Fine, infact Manipal Institute of Virology has new faculties joined and many international Faculties have been a part of the Institution. The relationship between Faculties and Student is good as well as the faculties are easy to approach. All the Faculties are Nice and cooperative. There are 4 semesters out of which 3 semester has Mid-term and End-term examinations. The examination have been conducted on pen-paper mode but there might the introduction of paperless examination. The course is very much relevant to the domain and many passouts have been placed in many reputed Organizations.
