Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is practical driven that makes the learning fun and interesting. We used to do various activities that helped us in gaining a deep insight into the Media industry. However, the curriculum was not very vast and updated that acts as a negative point for the college.
Placement Experience
Yes, they do provide internships with the local newspaper and TV channels. However, placements are not good. You have to find your own way to get a good job.
College Events
The best part of this college was events. The college organizes talent reality shows in collaboration with the local TV channel. These talents shows were great exposure in terms of learning the production basics. Also, there were several other events like Diwali fest, debate and writing competitions that will help you in enriching your college experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for all three years was 65000 per year excluding the hostel charges. I was a day boarder, so didn't pay for the hostel. However, the hostel rooms were quite spacious and well-furnished. There is a food mess also but the quality of food is bad. Seriously need improvement.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. My education was fully sponsored by my parents.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite good and vibrant. We regularly used to have group discussions sessions on trending topics that really helped in gaining insight into the new world and building confidence. Our faculties used to encourage us to participate and speak out that helped me generate new ideas and thoughts.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of the college is quite vast. Our seniors were helpful and friendly. The college administration used to invite them to various events to guide the students and share their experience.
Admission
They don't conduct any entrance exam. You can directly visit there and get admission. Talk to the students who are already studying there to get a clear insight into the college. Also, go on the college tour to see the camera equipment and studio setup.
Faculty
The faculties were quite good when I passed out from the college. They were friendly and use interactive training techniques to teach us. The faculties were experienced that really helped me in learning new things and securing internships.
