Review of DSCET

Actual reason for choosing this department is I had own interest in computer science engineering . So I prefer this course .The college doesn't give the practical knowledge in college only we can gain study knowledge and with our own interest we can learn many things if we are interested staffs are helping for our career development . The lab facilities should be developed more and some of the departments should be developed . The exams will help upto three hours and it is difficult to complete the examinations within three hours .And many questions are twisted so we should maintain correct timings in examinations

Internships are common that we should search in computer and we should apply for internship. Many colleges offered the best intership projects. And in second year it is very useful to get atleast one internship certificate.

From the seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. In and around Chennai many companies are visited other than big companies such as Wipro, TCS etc. As per the company and position the packages or given. The average package is a minimum of three lakhs per annum and the highest package is ten lakhs per annum. Maximum of 9 CGPA will get placed in a good company. My plan is to get a job in TCS and I will work hard for it.

In the first year, my course fees is 90,000 and my hostel fees is 70,000 and other fees such as admission fees, book fees,exam fees. Totally in first year, I had paid nearly 2,00,000. And the same for the remaining years .They offered scholarship for SC/ST students For management, they asked 1,10,000 for per year for CSE course.They offered merit scholarship. They had offered first-graduate scholarship and some other scholarships etc.

Festivals such as Pongal ,Diwali and cultural will be held .There are lots of book in libraries and many journals are available. In many classrooms, there are smart classes for the better understanding of the students .They will conduct sports day and some extracurricular events will be offered in campus. In our college, there is a student council, NSS, etc. to make students to know about the importance of choosing the head of our India.

In hostel they just provide a cot ,other than that in some rooms they will have rack,cupboard,table and chair etc..In hostel the meals was very worst and the same menu has been repeated several months .For hostel I paid 70,000 but it isn't worthable .I would it is better to choose PG hostel but if you rent a room it's cost must be high as well as they should cook and eat for that purpose also ..so it is best to choose PG rooms .

I had come across counselling .I had filtered colleges and kept as a choice list .In counselling I got the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan college of Engineering ,Chennai . So I considered this would be a good college so I further processed my admission . I doesn't get rejection from other colleges . There are many colleges called management side but I doesn't prefer this so I choosed counselling .I have selected from tamilnadu engineering admissions.

The faculty are very less but the students are much enough . The relationship between staffs and students are good .They are very friendly to students .And they give us many suggestions for our career . Many staffs in CSE department are very good but they are very strict in discipline and punctuality . Many staffs teachings are very good and they had a greater knowledge .In CSE department second year third semester my maths teaching staff is very bad and she doesn't have enough knowledge to teach students .There are eight semesters in engineering and it is some what difficult to study but if we are clear in concept it is dead easy to complete the examinations . Some concepts are very difficult to understand so many students are failed in some examinations .
