Likes

The teachers are good and qualified they are helpful
The seniors and atmosphere is good, as there is less students we know each other and every one is approachable

Dislikes

No research database available in the college and it difficult to do the research work and library teacher's don't provide us even after complaining it for so many times. Though the one they have given is expired and doesn't work
Bad infrastructure and it could be better by increasing more equiped things and by utilising the university property around the school campus. The parking lacks and the washroom is not as well good in condition

The curriculum is based on the judiciary pattern. And the college have mostly the judiciary aspirants and most of them are successful in their exams. The teachers are also well aware of this fact and give examples regarding that only

The year wise fee increase per year, and there are no such criteria as to which caste you come, everyone has to pay same amount. Though, there is two kind of schorolships one is medhavi merit based on 12th result if you have 85% you are eligible and other is MPtass if you are SC,SC,OBC you can Avail this.

Campus Life

The annual function takes place in March, every year and there are variety of programs one can participate it's interesting and fun if taken interest in. The sports event also happens for a week. And the books and journals update every now and than. Moot court society is there as well

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is decent, the first year hostel is fine. And there are so many pg and rooms available nearby. The quality of meal in hostel is fine and when you live outside it is your own choice. To get the food from mess or tiffeb

Admission

I've given clat and cuet, and this wasy next Best choice In MP. The cuet is compatitively easy and the process starts by councelling process, the councelling process takes place in college only and it requires you to be present to choose your course

Faculty

There are enough faculty on the basis of 60 students per batch and no sections other than this. There are in total of 3 internal and one sem exam every semester and out of which two is compulsory to give

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is curriculum for the law students like they call advocates and judges for the seminar so that students can gain practical knowledge about the law fields.there is also moot court competition by which student can develop their advocacy skills .in area like proper topic for the curriculum they need to improve and overall is very good. The exam were not on time either before or late never happened on time.

Placement Experience:

Last year over 50% students were placed and also in 2027, we will have direct placements to MP High court as deals have been inked. So by the time our turn comes in 2028, our placements will be more handy and hopefully better firms too start coming.

Placements luckily during our batch were quite good as our of 200-220, more than half were placed. Our batch infact was the game changer for our university as looking at our placements record a lot of students started applying for law in Amity Gwalior.

From last year the students are eligible for the campus placements . Most famous named companies are there Accenture, Axis Bank , Infosys, HCL technologies, wipro etc. Highest salary package is 72 LPA this top package has been secured by high performing student Average package is 5.30 LPA. 70 to 77 % of students placement My plans are that I will work under some senior advocates initially and prepare for PCSJ exam.

NMIMS Indore has a good record of placements with an annual package for a fresher being 6-8 Lacs and highest package being offered is 16 lac per annum. Also, reputed law firms i.e., Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms visits our campus for placements.

The syllabus is not updated often. We are only taught theories and not give the opportunity to have a practical experience. It is only in 5th year that we get skme excursions and moot courts. Other than that only subjects are taught for the sake of completing syllabus. Co-curricular activities are very rare

Before finalizing my admission, I had shortlisted two other colleges: Indore Institute of Pharmacy (IIP) and SGSITS. IIP was a mid-level college, whereas DAVV was a better option as it is a reputed state university. SGSITS is a high-profile institute, but the cutoff was very high, and I could not secure admission there. I received a rejection from SGSITS but had an offer from IIP, so I ultimately chose DAVV for its academic reputation. Admission to DAVV is based on the CUET entrance examination, for which eligibility includes required subjects as prescribed by the university, followed by a centralized counselling process. Shri nilkantheshwar govt pg College's fair review

I didn't apply for anyther colleges other than the one I am in I didn't get rejected from any colleges as I am a dropper so in my 12 th class I gave cuet and get selected for DU JMU and BHU but because of financial issues I could not make up to it The admission process of our college is state based counselling, the eligibility criteria is least to 60 % if seats are empty or 75% is needed to be eligible, cuet etc are accepted exams and overall admission experience is much easy as compared to other colleges...Read More
