Course Curriculum Overview
*I chose Bsc in Chemistry, because after chemistry there are many streams that i am eligible to apply for. *The curriculums for every Bachelor degrees are basics, we must have to study higher courses too. *The exams take place in the months (November and April)
Internships Opportunities
Kamaraj College has alliance with SPIC (petrochemical industry corporation), tOS( TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES) , Banks (HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Karur Vyasya, TMB), WIPRO, SANMAR, ALLSEC TECHNOLOGIES, ASHOK LEYLAND. *After placement trainings And Internships you are eligible to apply for jobs at the above industries and companies. *If you Cleared NET/SET exams ,you would receive a stipend of 40k per month and yearly 20k for other purposes.
Placement Experience
Placement offers takes place at the last year of your courses. College provides free Placement studies with different staffs specifically for the placement training. Students must maintain a percentage of 80 for confirm jobs just after placement training. Studying Mastering degrees after Bachelor degrees are must and very helpful.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bachelor of science (3yrs) First yr fee_13,000 Second yr fee_9500 Third yr fee _11600 *The hostel fee per annum expected to be 12000/yearly, Lab breakages fee_500/yr, no other compulsory charges. *Those who studied in Matriculation schools, for them fee would vary. *Scholarships _Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme and other scholarships for financially unstable students.
Campus Life
*In each semester,three internal exams(for 20 marks) will take place and 5 marks will be from club activities such as NCC and NSS or sport events, lastly the semester exams (of 75 marks). *The Library consists of all types of books (magazines. Newspapers, journals, government related exam books, and previous year's semester questions. *Students are, only prohibited from using mobile phones otherwise they can form any education related clubs
Admission
I chose this college only because for completing Bsc in Chemistry, no other reasons. Mainly the staff's here are very experienced and skilled. *I didn't get rejection from any colleges,but i was very in applying for the Course after finishing my 12th .
Faculty
*The faculties are very approachable and they never fail in clarifying our doubts. *Each department has a great faculty members who will guide you through the year. *There are 6 semester exams for Bachelor degrees. The exams are easy if we put your mind on it. The courses are all very necessary, and they are understandable.
