- The campus is very good like the infrastructure is nice and very good facilites all over
- The incubation cell helps you if you have any startup ideas etc.. it will help with team and funding
- The education exposure is good like we can explore real time projects in academic courses
Dislikes
- parking space is out of college . so you have to walk overall college or else you have take shuttle bus which is full everytime
- no bikes are allowed into the campus by the students
Course Curriculum Overview
My curriculum is very good. it touches all the aspects that a computer science student should learn starting from scratch.the faculties provide you adequate learning and make you do realtime projects based on the course which helps in knowing the subject more clearly.
Internships Opportunities
many companies like nokia, SAP, philips, AMD, NXP semiconductors and every big company hires students from VIT for internshipsfor a stipend between 25,000-70,000 per month and if you perform well in interships there is high chances of getting permanant in same companies for a good package
Placement Experience
The placements are really good like if you learn the proper skills then there is a max chance to get hired in a good company and a very good package.if you didnt get selected in campus placements means that you are not good enough with the skills.large number of companies come and hire students at good package.if you are not selected and graduated get the better skills and apply for jobs as VIT is considered first over other private colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees for the B.Tech + M.Tech in computer science & engineering starts with 95,000-1,95,000 per year according to categories. categories are seperated based on the rank . i was in the third category i have paid 1,95,000 per year.if you are staying in hostel the caution fees is 15,000 for overall 5 years, and re-regestration fees if you fail in a course is 6,000 per course. as i am a dayscholar i paid only tution fees 1,95,000 per year for 5 years.
Campus Life
Absolutely fantastic.you have huge number of clubs and chapters and extra curricular activites happening all over .you can participate in any of the activites and you can get a good recognition if you are talented in music or dance etc.and the classrooms are fully digital and labs with advanced equipments which i think no other colleges have.
Admission
comparing to different colleges,VIT has the best facilities and faculties that can help us to grow in any field.as the tagline says a place to learn , a chance to grow .. i got very attracted to it and it is the same thats happening in the college.very wonderul opportunities to shape your future.thats why is chose VIT.and coming to admission process, you have to write viteee exam with which you will get a rank based on the marks and then counselling happens according to ranks and you can choose whatever course you want.
Faculty
our class had 60 students.most of the faculties are very friendly in nature and always there to help us with everything they can.they can help in project ideas , projects, startups, management etc and everything .the best thing is we can choose the faculty for the subject during course registration.
