All insights of Gl Bajaj

BTech from Gl bajaj is no doubt a good decision for the students who seriously want to study and get placed. The college is not for those who wants to enjoy and college life and just have a graduation degree. Curriculum is very strict as we do not get much holidays in the month and semester breaks. Difficulty level of the exams is more than the other universities around gl bajaj. But same for all the aktu college as gl bajaj is affiliated to aktu.

A student can apply for internship in second third year . But college do not have much involvement in providing internship. Moreover a student has to effort himself for internships. Mostly they are unpaid. Different students do different internships according to their perspective.

Placements are good, more than descent and best in greater Noida. 7-8 lakh of average package. And a descent amount of students are placed. Placements are also displayed in their Instagram. Highest package was around 54 lakh p.a. And more than 80 percent students are placed every year.

If we talk about the fee structure of GLBITM Greater Noida: 1 St year fees I paid for my btech(CSAI) was 161300 per year including all the academic and other charges . And the fees I will pay for next year's is 150800 for second year , and same for the third year but 152800 for 4 th year. The fee is same for all the branches and including mechanical and electrical. The fee is even same for the students taking admission through counselling or Direct admission. The fees for all categories is same. There is only one way to get scholarship that is through counselling. During the counselling their you can opt for an option that provide you almost 100 percent scholarship . As such Gl bajaj doesn't provide any type of scholarship or merit cum based scholarship. There is no hidden charges in the fees but exept this fee only a exam fee is to be paid approx 7500 per year for both the semester. The whole fee payment is to be done during the admission process.

Campus Life is not good, Infact poor. As students do not have much option to participate and engage in different events and club. The college is More focused in academics. College has few clubs but they don't have a huge involvement overall. The party, fest and events are organised in very less amount. Like 1-2 big events per year. For sports the college have certain courts and ground. In sports it's descent . In these factors gl bajaj is not so good as it is much focused on academics.

Hostel is offered to the students during admission. Fee is 130000 per year including all facilities like laundry , meals. Hostel rooms are average but meals are very poor. Students complaints a lot about food. But timings of the hostel is too strict.

The admission process of Gl bajaj is through counselling and direct admission mode. So I got selected for the admission through aktu counselling. I compared galgotias college of engineering with gl bajaj. But as galgotias is totally degrading day by day because their events and placements are being mixed with galgotias university which is too overcrowded. If you score 90 plus percentage in 12 th then you can apply for direct admission if you need CSE. If you got 70+ percentile in JEE mains then you can apply through the counselling. For UP students through counselling they can get CSE CORE at 80 plus percentile. This data is approx which varies year to year. They provide all branches like CSE , CSAI , CSEAIML, IT , AIDS , CSDS .

The faculty to student ratio is good. For every subject 1 faculty has only 2 sections to teach. And one section contains 60-70 students. So it's quite easy for the faculty to remember each student and easy for student to interact with them . Faculty student relationship is quite good except some of the faculties. But mostly they are good in interacting. They are strict too for the academics , not interested for the interactions exept academics . They are approachable very easy as students can call them and visit their cabin anytime during college. Some 1 St year faculties I like are bandana Priya mam who is the professor of mathematics. Quite descent and have a good relationship with the students . Some faculties do not understand the situations and are straight forward and work accordingly the rules. Very students are failed in the semester exams because college conducts 3 exams before main semester exams which helps them for the preparation.
