Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum of this college is very similar to other colleges, there is only one programming subject in the first year. Some subjects are very good but some of them are very unrelated like in the first year you will get a subject called manufacturing process which has no relation to the real-world applications and you feel like you are a labour. from second year you get multiple computer science subjects. where includes multiple of subjects related to computer science

Placement Experience

4

in 2021-2022 placements were record high and students were getting a package of 65LPA, many students got lured and took admission into this college now the average package and highest package is slightly degraded but will go up soon. it all depends upon your hard work to get a decent placement right now the average package in cse branch is 10 to 12 LPA and its not that hard to get this package you can easily get it. companies like Amazon also comes into the college in placement season and many students get pladced there. the percentage of student get placed is around 75% after removing the students after marking them low attendace, low CGPA and on other basis

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee you have to pay per year is Rs. 1,44,200/- and Rs. 5000/- as a security deposit every year. you will get a refund after the end of the 4th year of your college. If you come under Kashmere quota your fees will be waived by 100% or if you are from the ews category and have an annual income of less than Rs.2.5 lakh per year, in that case too you will get a 100% fee waived of. You can ask to divide the fee into two halves for a year.. Ex. you can pay the 1,49,200 Amount in halves in a Year. The fee is increasing as compared to the 2021 batch a little. If you wish to Ask for a fee waive you can go to the dean office to ask or discuss your financial issue, the college is kind of supportive in providinf financial aid or helping in sanctioning loans to the student. they regularly ask if any student has to work on weekends due to any financial issues for which they are willing to help and are supportive. the year wise fee for btech is Rs. 1,49,200/- And for four years it sums upto Rs. 5,96,800/-

Campus Life

4.5

when it comes to college life this college is not so bad because you get to see our annual fest which is called MALHAAR, and is one of the biggest fest in IPU. you get many other festivals on different occasions and can enjoy them at your most. Malhaar basically held in the month of November December. There is a library too in the college which is quite beautiful and makes you feel like that the best part of the college is the library. The library is fully AC and is very beautifully designed. you get a fully working projector in every class but the main problem about the classes are that they don't have ACs and in summer it's really hard to take regular classes. there are many clubs too in this college from singing to Rotaract to dancing to writing and everything

Admission

I applied for Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, the main campus of IPU, and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology too but because of my rank, I only got into Bhagwan Parshuram Institute Of Technology. I also got into colleges from AKTU colleges but due to the distance, I decided not to go there. I got rejected from many IITs, NITs, And IIITs but in the end, I ended up in Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology. Most of my friends got into IITs and DTU. When I got admitted into this college the cutoff for the computer science branch varied from 75k to 120k depending upon state quota. If you are from outside Delhi then you should at least get 80k in JEE mains to get CSE and if you are from Delhi then 100k to 110k is a safe rank to get here

Faculty

3.5

You get 6 to 10 subjects every semester, and same the faculty member per subject. those subjects include labs and theory classes. you get at least one lab period every day of 1.5 hours. The faculty members are kind of supportive(almost everyone). they support you in everything whether you are working on a project or building a startup or anything else. The faculty members are very approachable you can approach them anytime on college hours they will solve your problem within hours. the college faculty especially from the computer science department is very supportive, you can ask them any of your doubts anytime. you got 2 exams in an year at the end of each semester and two midsems/ internal in the middle of each semester. the question paper comes from IP university and the level of exam isnot that hard you can easily get 8 CGPA studying one night before the exam

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA.
