My college experience

Basically the course which I have chosen is quite different and difficult than other branches. So it feels stressed for me sometimes, but however I overcame by preparing hard and by attending the classes daily.

In our 2nd year, we have done an free internship at Accent CS Global organization in area of AutoCAD and CATIA softwares. It's our summer internship. We have designed 2D modelling,detailing & designing in AutoCAD through that internship.

From 4-1 semester, campus drives start in our college. Students start getting hired from beginning of their 4th year. Very good companies like Accenture, concentrix, KodNest, Amazon, etc come to our college for campus drives. So far, our college got Highest package of 44LPA and minimum package of 2LPA. Due to recession, these days placements are less, so percentage of students getting placements is approx 40%. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in a company temporarily for my personal & professional development and later on I will shift towards my passion or in the area which I was interested.

Yearly fee comprises of 44000, bus fee is 17000, building fund is 7000, library and laboratory fee is 5000 approx, semester exam registration fee is 1000, etc. Some of friends have JVD scheme, so their fee varies and also the bus fee varies with the distance they travel.

Our college conducts special events like sankranthi, ugadi, Dusshera, janmastami, etc. Along with these, our college also conducts association which is a fest for 2nd,3rd and final year students. As well as, a technical fest is also conducted in the month of October or November every year for showcasing the talents of students & for project expo. Many events are conducted by the faculty and winners get awarded. Some classrooms consits of digital classrooms and projector are provided in other classrooms. Extra-curricular activities like sports include throwball,cricket, and games include carrom,chess are often played by the students in sports hour. Yoga classes were also being conducted for the students which is implemented in last year. There are many clubs, each department have several clubs and encourage the students in all aspects.

Hostel rooms are very good and it feels like home. Proper safety is provided to the hostel and mess food is also very good like it is prepared from home. It feels safe and secure in the hostel and it's 1Km far from the college.

I got seat in this college according to my eapcet rank. Firstly, I thought of changing to other college but I got positive reviews about the college from my seniors, so I continued to be in this college. I only applied for this college because I liked the college environment and infrastructure. I also heard about the fests that were being held at this college. And this college get good placements/ campus drives for students.

Faculty are highly qualified and dedicated to job. They are always available for students to clarify doubts and they have enough knowledge about the subject they are dealing with. We have 2 semesters per year and each semester consits of 2 mids including 3 or 4 laboratories with it.

For the preparation of campus drives, our college provided life skills classes for 4th year students. There we practiced group discussions and for interviews. I participated actively along with my friends in group discussion about the topic given by our trainee.
