What Students Say
Likes
- The only thing I liked is that it's affordable and can be feasible for a lot of people out there.
- It's good for those who are working or preparing for something else but want a degree as well side by side .
Dislikes
- No guidance, or supervision over our studies
- No campus life experience, so if you want to experience college life , it is not for you
Course Curriculum Overview
I personally choose this because I was preparing for something else and wanted a degree side by side so I opted for distance learning. The curriculum does not prepares you for real-world applications at all as they provide you no experience. They should provide classes in every part of the country at least, and then it could have been like students' choice to attend or not. Exams occur twice a year in the month of June and December.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is somewhere 16000 (which is 7500 per semester) also 10% of discount is available if you don't opt for hard copy of study materials. Tution fees I've mentioned already and the course is of three years so total is somewhere around 48000, also there's no lab, development, or other charges as it is a distance learning program but ya they do take exam registration fees which depends on your subjects, mostly 150/per subject and 300 for lab subjects.
Campus Life
Nothing at all as you don't have a campus only, so no activities, sports, cultural events, nothing at all. It does not even feels like a college life. So if you wish to have a cultural, social life as well from college apart from studies here you'll not get it .
Admission
I chose this college because of the distance learning thing. Also I did not applied to any other colleges. But ya other regular colleges have a far better curriculum and real world experience of you ask me specially in such a course where it's all about programming and real- world implementations, other regular colleges are Better in providing so. Admission procedure here in this college is quite simple, one can apply by just going on it's website and get the admission done directly by applying from there.
Faculty
Exams vary the subjects I mean differ from course to course. I'm pursuing BCA so my subjects are currently 7, I'm in my second year. Exams are moderated neither difficult not easy. A lot of students do fail, although exams are moderate only but students still fail maybe because of the distance learning thing.
