- Good infrastructure is maintained in all the units of yenepoya university.
- The main campus of yenepoya is very spacious and rigid
- The yenepoya medical college is providing free consultation for students in yenepoya and its a very helpful aspect.
Dislikes
- The rules and regulations are very strict and it’s very disturbing most of the times
- Some faculties are not so good in teaching even when we complain they won’t be replaced.
- Money is everything for yenepoya and I think this is the opinion of most of the students in yenepoya even there is a small mistake fine is taken.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is fine but some repititive subject are there is every semesters and I think it is not required but very good courses are also provided in the curriculum which really useful to us and also practicals are more important in microbiology and our practical sessions should be made more than theory for improving our skills and fight in the real world.
Internships Opportunities
No internships are provided from the college but they ll give time to do we have to find a company or institute and do internship from there and projects also if we ask they'll provide the necessary arrangements.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year it's was 90000 then two year it's 60000.there is no caution fee development fee lab fee admission fee is taken along with the first year fee. Hostel fee is 37500 for the first two semester and the next two sem 39500 and the last two sem 43500.
Campus Life
Campus life is good in yenepoya we had programmes like fashion week and ethnic day and also celebration at September and also many other programmes are held in yenepoya.in library there are so many books we can access to and in every class there is smart tv and ppts are presented in there.there are sports held and also so many extracurricular activities are there. So many clubs are also there in our college I'm part of nss club.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities in hotel is fine there is ac in every room and also 6 people in one room 6 have separate cupboards and beds.meals are also fine but sometimes very bad food is served and some are infected with food poison also hostel fee is increased every fear but we don't think there is a need for that hostel regestration they charged a 5000 rupees for bucket mug 2 bedsheet and pillow cover plate glass and bed.
Admission
I first checked for the college ranking and it was quite impressive I only applied to yenepoya I got the approval and joined.i took an admission test and and Paid the admission fee after that and joined hostel.and also my course was with 3 major courses together so it was also interesting
Faculty
In my department to be honest only some faculties are aprochable but we are not sure if they are with us...some teachers maintain a good relationship with students.My favourite faculty was Rachana maam but she left the college one week back and she is a great loss to our department such a good teacher she was her way of teaching and dealing with the students is so good.And also rajitha maam she is also good.I don't like Manisha maam because she have partiality towards students and I don't think it is a good thing for a teacher to have that kind of habit and also smitha maam she enters the class with a big face and be angry for small things which ruins the mood of whole day classes.We have two internal exams and one sem exam.Exams are easy to tackle if we study properly.in our department only in the first sem some students failed but not in other semesters.Course curriculum is okay.
