Dislikes
- The placement support is not good. Even the opportunities for getting interships are also very less.
- The faculty to students ratio is need to be improved as there's less faculty when you take the ratio of students
- The library system is also need to be boost and library requires updated books.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've been interested in politics which made me to choose political science as of my subject. The course curriculum is enough to prepare us for real world applications. There's a need for improvement in the placement and providing intership to the students. The curriculum needs to be made more practical based and teaching methods should be more engaging. The frequency of exams is three times in a year with a moderate difficulty level.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee of my course is INR 5000. The additional registration fee is INR 500. The fee is same for all the categories whether you're OBC or SC or ST. My batchmates also pay the equal fee as I paid to the college. Merit cum need based scholarship is provided by the state government of Uttar Pradesh.
Campus Life
The annual festivals which are organised here is mainly convocation where the degree is distributed to the students. The library facilities are average. There is unavailability of journals in the library. The classrooms are with basic facilities and the sports and extra curricular activities are quite good. There's no student run social groups here.
Admission
I applied to this University as well as in Bundelkhand University Jhansi and Allahabad University also. The peaceful environment of learning was the reason to opt this college. I got confirmed admission in Bundelkhand University also but I didn't get admission in Allahabad University. I chose this college over Bundelkhand University. The admission process starts with applying online for the admission then entrance test which is not difficult. The eligibility for the course is 12th passed from any recognised board of India. There's no difficulty in taking admission the people are cooperative.
Faculty
The faculty members of the college are humble and knowledgeable but the teacher to students ratio is concerning there's a need for recruitment for more faculty members. The faculty and students relationship is healthy and cooperative. The exams aren't difficult they've medium level of difficulty. We encountered three exams in a year the first mid exam which is written exam and the second mid exam is assignment based and the third mid exam is final exam which is of pen and paper mode. Almost each student pass the exams and the course curriculum is relevant to the practical world scenario.
