Likes
- Professors are friendly and they help in solving the doubts even outside the class
- I like that there is ganga ghat just behind our college, and many small temples, which gives the students a breath of fresh and peace of mind.
- I like that even though there are less classrooms available but they are spacious.
Dislikes
- It is not very safe campus for students as fights between students and hoteliers occur very often.
- Lack of teaching faculty at times, during the completion of a course the attendance of teachers in the class is very less
- Lack of initiative for students. There is no good placement facility on campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite relevant but no practical tests were conducted to make is understand it better. It should increase the number of teaching faculty for better teaching experience of the students. The course does not prepare us for the real world application but it does make us understand the concept of it all a little.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearwise fee sturucture of the college is divided into two categories of students:- There are students of self finance group and students of regular group. Fees of the self finance group is 15000 per year, including tution fees, caution fees etc. The fees of regular group is 170 for girls and 1500 for boys, it exclude registration fees of 1500 for general caterogy and 1100 for Sc/St.
Campus Life
There are many functions that are being celebrated in the college. Annual day function is being conducted in April. Freshers in may and farewell to seniors in February. Independence day and republic day are also celebrated. There are many sports and extracurricular activities on campus like cricket, badminton and folk dance. There are small unions of students for the betterment of students and college.
Admission
I have applied for BHU (Banaras Hindu University) and I have also got the email for counselling purpose but I failed to attend that due to some personal reasons. Then I chose patna university to apply because I reside here only. My admission was on the basis of merit but entrance exams are also conducted for admission of students. The cut off marks went upto 85% during 2021.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is like 1 teacher per 200 students. There are different teachers assigned for different subjects. The teachers I personally liked are ahmed sir and shalini ma'am for cost accounting, zafar sir for taxation and management accounting. When I was in college the exams were conducted once a year but from this year the semester system has been applied.
