- The campus life of college is very good, and one can't get bored in such a happening and peaceful place. The playground is lush green that adds to the beauty of campus
Dislikes
- The students are not provided with industrial exposure and are expected to develop skills on their own by taking part in various internship programs and tech feasts
- Strict rules have been made for attendance and students are required to attend classes on regular basis and fulfil the criteria of 75% attendance
- The infrastructure of college needs a renewal, apart from that the placement cell should be made more active as only 1/4th of students get paced hardly every year. The college must arrange campus placements for students
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is designed as per ner education guidelines and is well updated . I personally took admission in BCA because of my vigorous interest in coding and programming , technology and content writing. BCA provides strong foundation in computer science and applications which aligns well with my passion in programming skills . Additionally, BCA is a good stepping stone for entering in tech industries where we can combine our technical skills with our interest in various fields
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements after 5th semester . However the placement cell of the college is less active than before and only 1/4th of students are placed every year to companies like piramel, tcs, capgemini, havells etc . Highest packege offered was 7lpa at TCS. Mostly students have to find and struggle by themselve . My plans for now is to pursue master degree first. Around 20% of students gets placed evey year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees paid by me for BCA( Bachlors in Computer Applications ) was 60,000 and for the entire course, the fee is about 1,80,000. The college offers various other courses as well such as btech for which the fee is 1 lakh per year, BCom 70,000 per year, BBA 50,000 per year, BPT 70,000 per year, B pharma 90,000 per year, and the college also has master courses in the same which have different fee structure . There are no caution fee charged . but during the time of registration 1000 rupees are charged alonwith all the necessary documentations such as marksheet, TC etc. Financial aid is provided to minorities and scholarship to exceptionally talented students
Campus Life
The college offers and conducts various activities . The most loved one by the students is the Annual function that takes place every year , apart from that various cultural feasts , welcome meet for freshers, farwell and sports activities are also hosted. Sometimes, tech fests are also arranged. Overall the number of festivals celebrated are wide ranging and very exciting . the classrooms are well furnished , the labs are air conditioned and have sufficient number of PC
Admission
I planned to enroll myself in some other college in my district at first but it was a way too far and it was difficult for mr to commute on daily basis. I chose lachoo memorial college because of the college's reputation, academic offerings, and the opportunities it provides to students in the field of computer applications . Additionlly, the college offers various workshops, and hands on experience that align with our experiences, helpingus to develop our skills and prepare for a successful career
Faculty
The faculty of Lachoo Memorial is exceptionally talented in their respective fields . They come from top- notch universities and have undergone all the methodologies that are required to be a good professor. Some of the faculty memebers also hold doctorates degree and have published various research papers and books .They are always ready to give extra efforts for their students and are very approachabale. Exams are taken internally after every two months and semister wise , the difficulty level is moderate to tough.
