Remarks

It's a good college to join. The college infrastructure is spanned in about 11acres (another 11 acres is currently not in use) in these 11 acres there are 3 specialized academic blocks. A separate block for the first yr due to strong policies against ragging and harassment. 1 block is for mechanical and civil brach, which is equipped with its separate labs and classrooms complete and another is for computer science, electronics, and electricals. College also has 3 hostels, 2 for boys (separate for first-year students due to strict anti-ragging policies and a separate one for girls with 4 security guards). Apart from these, College has a fully functional library with a collection of over 80000 books and more than 150 digital journals. There are 15 labs for computer science alone the same is the case for all the other branches.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement at the campus is good. Mostly, all of the students get placed as I heard from my seniors but it depends on the student whether they want to get a job or pursue higher studies. The average salary offered is around 3.2 lakhs per annum. The companies which visited are HCL, Samsung, R System, Samsung, Deloitte, etc.

College Events

5

Events are mesmerizing, worth remembering. Many events are celebrated in our college for the overall development of the mind. Co-curricular participation is as important as studies. Also, it is the soft skills trainer that matters too. There are many societies in KEC that organize many technical as well as sporting events.

Fees and Financial Aid

No

Campus Life

4.5

They were all good, some seminars are also organized regarding it. If you are looking for the “full college experience,” you’ll find “the perfect mix of great academics, social life, and sports” at KEC. While “the library is usually filled with students” during the week, “everyone counts down the days till the weekend, then its party, party, party.”

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are a good guide. Immense “pride and a sense of community” pervade every aspect of life at KEC. Students love the remarkable “school spirit” and “strong family feels” on this vibrant campus, and they are equally proud of the “quality education” they receive. An affordable public institution, It offers “highly regarded programs across a wide range of academic colleges,” including a “prestigious undergrad business school,” top engineering and education majors, and the competitive Schreyer Honors College, which participants describe as “the finest honors program in the nation.” “Classes freshman year are mostly lectures,” which can be “intimidating” for new students.

Faculty

5

Faculty is great, Every student never hesitates in keeping their opinions in front of them. The faculty team available is generally well qualified and is well-versed with the subject they teach. They usually give knowledge about the latest technology which we are working with and some extra knowledge too. We do get industry exposure here teaching methods used are by using board and projectors too to explain the things which can't be explained on the 2-dimensional board. When it comes to core subjects, one faculty often teaches more than one subject which often dilutes the academic standards, but there are some really good professors who encourage you to research and indulge in other activities away from the college curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
