Likes
- Faculty: The faculty is highly knowledgeable and skilled in their teachings.
- Infrastructure: The campus consists of 5-6 institutional buildings and also a basketball court, outdoor stage and a football ground.
- Library: The library in Jaypee University is equipped with the most advanced computers and books which are frequently updated, unlike many other universities/colleges.
Dislikes
- Attendance Criteria: the criteria for attendance is 85 but it gets adjusted till 75, which is still pretty high because it does not let the students take holidays in cases of emergency etc.
- There is this weird rule that the basement parking for vehicles can only be used by boys and not girls. This rule does not make any kind of sense and it is such a weird rule to have in a prestigious university like this.
- The classes start from 8 or 9 am and go up till 4 or sometimes 4 pm in first year, which can be tiring
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really good at Jaypee University because the faculty is highly skilled and knowledgeable and they have a lot of experience in the industry and the fields that they teach about. The curriculum is flexible and leaves time for the students to focus on internships and extracurricular activities.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like IBM and Microsoft offer a lot of internships and courses to the students which helps the students at Jaypee University build a strong CV or/and resume, which later on helps in getting placements from the campus or getting a high paying job in general.
Placement Experience
The placements given in Jaypee University are great. Many of the students have got packages upto 3 crores per year in companies like Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Shell, IBM etc. The average package for Btech in Jaypee University is 12LPA and the average package for Bba is 6LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is to be deposited every semester, the first sem fees is 1,85,000 and same for the second semester. To apply for the Universities entrance exam JIPMAT, the exam fees is only 500 rupees. Scholarship programs are also provided for the students enrolled in the university and also to those who are looking to enroll in the university. Post graduate courses like Mba, Mtech, Mca, Msc etc are also taught in Jaypee University. There placements are also very good as JIIT is a technical institute and their reach and networks are extremely strong with MNCs and companies like Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Shell, IBM etc often recruit students from this university and give them high packages in their company.
Campus Life
The campus life is great at Jaypee University because it is located in sector 62 noida and the metro station, noida electronic city is right above the Universitie's third gate, which makes it very easy for the students to commute daily. The basketball court and football ground are always active, students are always invested in sports at JIIT. All the labs and libraries are frequently updated and have the latest technological advancements.
Admission
Jaypee University accepts JEE scores, CUET scores, and their own entrance exam JIPMAT scores. The fees for JIPMAT is 500. The acceptance rate in Jaypee University is higher in Bba course than in Btech.
Faculty
The faculty is highly knowledgeable and very friendly and approachable. The students of Jaypee University share a unique bond with their teachers and the faculty and students get along really well. Even though the faculty consists of many Phd teachers who are very experienced in the industry
