A Detailed Look into Life at Galgotias University

The curriculum is very good and up to date. All the latest technologies are taught to MCA students. Proper lab classes are organized. The subjects offered in the curriculum made me choose the course. The curriculum definitely prepares us for real-world applications as projects are required to be made by students. Three exams are organized each semester with proper time gaps for students to prepare. The exams are not very difficult but are very competitive to keep students pushing more to learn and become better each sem.

The detailed fees for General MCA are: 1st year: 107000 (25000 adv. Included for seat confirmation) 2nd year : 107000 Exam and registration fees are already included in it. You have to pay 1000 for ID Card. For specialization courses of MCA, you have to pay : 1st year: 121000 2nd year: 107000

There is a very big freshers party organized every year for 1st-year students. Always there are some events organized for various activities of students. There is a very amazing and big library where thousands of books are available for students. They have big Basketball and Badminton courts. Also, there is a Tennis court and a playground for Cricket. All types of modern labs and technical equipment are available like the IOS Development lab full of Apple computers. All classes are smart classes with proper modern technical equipment. Classes are beautiful and huge. There are various groups and social groups for students to join like photography club, programming club, acting club, etc. There are many students who have built careers in multiple fields after learning and performing very well in the clubs run in university.

I didn't apply but wanted to apply in Chandigarh university. However the management and environment of Chandigarh university are not ideal. Hence, I skipped it. Also, the fees of CU are high. Galgotias has better infrastructure, labs, courses, and affordable fees compared to other universities. Admission to galgotias is merit based. The process is : 1. Check your eligibility (more than 60% in grad or 12th). 2. Apply and wait for offer letter if selected in merit list. 3. After getting offer letter you have to pay 25000 to confirm your seat. And then pay the remaining tuition fees before 31 september of following year. 4. Boom, you got successfully admitted. 5. All major exams scores are considered. (Like CUET, JEE etc.)

Every batch has 75 students. Faculties are very approachable and very supportive. All faculties are good. I liked all of them. There are three exams : IA (Internal Assessment) CAT, ETE (End Term Exams)
