Likes

The college is fun with all types of sports like baseball, softball , basketball , kabbadi ,cricket , boxing and many activities
It's a lively college and canteen is pretty affordable and cheap
The teacher are very fun and lively and they put extra effort to help you understand things better though it may be a B grade college if you decide to put the work in you can get great results

Dislikes

I don't really dislike anything about my college but the building could definitely use some maintaining

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I took is bcom finance even though I was a science student in hss and I took bcom because the course I wanted was expensive and time consuming and it is pretty hard from what I heard it was marine engineering and my second option was bcom and there is no particular reason behind it

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

First of all the PTA fund when you enter is about 4750 and fees is 2500 and if you are eligible for concession the 2500 decreases to only 800 and the college accredited by NAAC with a "B" grade which means a good performance college with average gpa If you take the community quota seat what I heard the price for it is around 2 lakhs

Campus Life

There are so many clubs and union like basket ball , cricket , tug of war , softball , kabbadi , and a lot more and the college offers free wifi and the library is pretty neat has a wide variety of genres and many interesting books of all sorts

Admission

I was a science student in HSS and the all the reputed college only opted for commerce students but because my grades were a little above average so I got into it this college won't give you any placements

Faculty

The faculty is great and they have a great attitude towards the students and exam are relatively easy but it mostly depends on the course you took and how well you could understand things and you have to look after yourself in this college as there is no spoonfeeding

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

Placement Experience:

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

My College

The eligibility criterion is a higher secondary mark. Only the students those who study in the Science stream with mathematics as one paper can apply for this course. The admissions are based only on merit. The applications and others through only online. There are some little application fees. We get 10-20 days for the application time. In Kerala, there are so many universities. Kerala university, Mahatma Gandhi University, Calicut university, kufos, Cusat, etc. MSM College is under the Kerala University. Different universities have different rules and regulations in the admission procedures. There are reservation categories. Scheduled caste, Scheduled tribe, physically disabled, etc. Those who have in these categories got a reservation in the admission criteria. I dont get that one. I got my course based only on my higher secondary mark. There are also benefits to extracurricular activities. Like NCC, SPC, NSS, Sports, Arts, and Work experience.
