- The campus of BHU is very beautiful, it has great ground, there is also Indore stadium, hospital faculty is also very good which is free and bus facility is also available, that too is free.
- The teachers here are very knowledgeable and good
- Transport system is also very good you can easily get e rikshaw from railway station to bhu
Dislikes
- No. Of seats in hostel is less , every student did not get host faculty
- The curriculum is old and hectic .several students get back in their examination
- May be you don't like infrastructure because it is very old
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum are old but from this year new education policy is applied so there is strong possibility of new curriculum Best department is geophysics followed by statistics in terms of jobs and placement
Internships Opportunities
Some government sectors offers internship and in geophysics department ongc psu offer internships and last year students do some projects I am in first year so I have no idea about these but you can easily get an internship
Placement Experience
If you do masters from here you can get placement this year in statistics department highest package is 16 lpa and AVG is 12 lpa which is not bad And several student from ug selected in ISS,RBI ,ISI ,and iits from thir masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for bsc Hons mathematics is 2800 per year with 325 semester fee And for paid seat it is 25000 And there are many scholarship by BHU administration,up government and central government I get inspir scholarship which provid me 60000 per year
Campus Life
There has been no official festival for the past one year and there is no culture of clubs here either But sports faculty is top notch And many students run many unofficial clubs and classroom are good Best things is you have a cyber library with 400 desktops and centralized Ac open for 20 hours and Asia's biggest Central library
Hostel Facilities
If you get hostel then you had to paid 5000 rs per year+ 3200 rs monthly for food and only two times food is provided but in some hostel there is canteen faculty But if you did not get hostel then you can easily get rooms private hostel near campus
Admission
I qualified jee examination and I was getting lower nits And I also got selected in a good college under du but BHU is not so far from my home and also I think it is best in other options so I came here
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is not so good here and some prof.are bad they don't give you marks and always seems to be angry some teachers are very good and cooperative like GPS sir statistics department Examination are though every year 20% students get back in atleast one paper
