- The hostel's which are new and nice yet less fee on it
Dislikes
- The acess to any lab or reasearch would not there after 6:30
- Too much strict on dress and hair code , which is sometimes annoying
- Few faculties make a big deal when a boy and girl have a very normal conversation
Course Curriculum Overview
The projects or reasearch could be taken by students at any point of time and in any topic irrespective of the department they joined , the code culture is SASTRA could be improved by a lot and the way they evaluate the programming paper's as well,we will have exams after every one month the difficulty would be same as every exam apart from 3rd exam as it has full syllabus
Internships Opportunities
Internship offer's are available ryt after they join the university here , under any department they can do what they wish to do , companies like fedility, cisco offers stipend's as well so does pay pal
Placement Experience
Ryt as they enter 5th semester students are eligible for placement's on an average every sem 15 different companies would come for recruitment's,the percentage of students getting placed per year would on an avg 40 percentage, who ever after degree is to join armed forces
Fees and Financial Aid
In management seat we are suppose to pay sum of rupees 400000 per year and then exam fee which would differ every sum but on an average it would be 2000 rupees,for the non management seat per semester it is 85000 and it increases 5 percentage after 2nd sem
Campus Life
The campus life is soo boring they are too strict abt it, there are ntg near to visit as well , for girl's they can't even come out of campus on week days, we really hope management does take care of this thing as well
Hostel Facilities
The hostel's facilities are quite basic yet matching with three hostel fee ,the ventilation around the hostel is soo good ,the mantaince of hostel by house keeping staff is just amazing as well, but there are no AC room's available
Admission
I applied in SRM and VIT as well where I got seat in B TECH computer science engineering but then Satra has better ranking and also Better placements, i got rejected in sivanadar university cause i couldn't do well in there entrance exam,so in management way is basically first come first serve base and also. Three sponsors must be NRI ,in the usual way it depends on JEE mains percentile
Faculty
There are huge number of faculties for every department, the ratio is quite healthy as any university could have , every faculty is approachable at any time before 6:30pm ,the best faculties that I came across were mostly from SOC,so per semester we would have 3 internal exam which on an average they would take best to and convert it to total of 40 , then 10 on assignment's then the rest 50 for final exam
